Get up, stand up! Stand up for your right! We know they will be thrown in jail but do you think Julia and Emily will have a preferential treatment, a separate cell or something else? I've been thinking that William will not be able to pick up Julia, she could believe that he's really anger with her and she could refuse to be released -she is so stubborn- until Inspector SLORACH explain why he didn't come.

I know now, it's not a good example to illustrate my point but I don't change my mind about William keeping the tie. I agree about the tie, I suspect it keeps a lid on all the 'out of William' experiences. Seems they only happen if he isn't wearing a tie. I do not re ally understand why the tie is so important especially when I know it will end up on the floor.

I think William doesn't care about Julia wearing a tie to defend her position in a man's world but he prefers to keep the tie in some cases. In "Snakes and Ladders", when Julia was leading him while they were dancing, William quickly expressed his desire to take the control. He wanted to be the dominating. In ballroom dancing the man always leads, that's why William suggested that Julia let him lead. The man is always moving forwards and the woman moving backwards, it makes sense for the man to lead, it's very difficult to lead when moving backwards, I've tried it with my other half who isn't a dancer. I know now, it's not a good example to illustrate my point but I don't change my mind about William keeping the tie.

You can read in the caption on Facebook: Murdoch marches with the boys in blue in just 5 days! Could they marche faster?

It seemed to me that Julia wore ties when she worked in the morgue. Watch this video at about the third minute (3'33).
In this case, the tie is a professional symbol, a proof that women are men's equals.
I believe Emily also wears a tie on occasion. But in this episode of The West Wing that I'm talking about, the person wearing the tie was going to be doing the dominating that night... Yes, she does. Anyway, perhaps Julia is always twiddling with the tie because she has plans to wear it later. It seemed to me that Julia wore ties when she worked in the morgue. Watch this video at about the third minute (3'33).
In this case, the tie is a professional symbol, a proof that women are men's equals.

There's a countdown to the season 8 premiere on Facebook! They asked us if we have missed CRABTREE and Dr GRACE. CRABTREE, YES! Dr GRACE, I would be a liar if I said "yes" so no comments.

Julia can not let him put himself at risk so -yes!- she will scold him. And William will just have one way to stop Julia scolding him. The same way that she tried to use to stop him preventing her from going to a public protest before they were interrupted by Inspector SLORACH. Kissing her! Quite true-they can silence each other with a kiss. However, I think William throwing himself into his work as he always has is going to be a big issue between them. You're probably right and I also think William will use his work to avoid confrontations with Julia until he can't get round her. Maybe Inspector BRACKENREID will can give him some advices... I say "advices" and not "drinks". I don't want MURDOCH become an alcoholic.

Apart from me and judging by the small number of reponses to my thread "in waiting for the answer", you are the one to think that it could be the secret of William. But it doesn't mean that we are wrong. To be continued. Because you want a simple answer for a complex question! I don't necessarily want a simple answer but just an answer.

But it doesn't mean that we are wrong. To be continued. Later I quibbled again and decided he had some experience from when he was much younger. But that's just to prevent really bad "William's first time" fanfic. But I'm still on board with the idea that he never slept with Julia. Trying to know if William is or is NOT a virgin, it's like to try to answer the chicken-and-egg question. It's fun but maybe we'll never know so or ! LOL

Yes, he does: he is a virgin! LOL. LOL - I vote for that being the secret! Apart from me and judging by the small number of reponses to my thread "in waiting for the answer", you are the one to think that it could be the secret of William. But it doesn't mean that we are wrong. To be continued.

NOOOO, they will be very cute, won't they? Have you got another idea which is more fair play?

Luckily William is about to marry a doctor. Julia will take care of him, heal his wounds and kiss him where it hurts... but not without scolding him before! ;-) lovemondays - this is the good part of "angst" plots. Nooooo, no scolding! William is suffering enough as it is! Julia can not let him put himself at risk so -yes!- she will scold him. And William will just have one way to stop Julia scolding him.
