Hope that's all it is. Wouldn't like to lose him to the States like we do most other actors. I think he's just playing all his options, which will also keep his value up in Canada. He did live and work in LA for years before moving his family to Toronto. I think Toronto will continue to be his home base. But actors repeatedly state the lack of "star system" in Toronto make it hard for actors to promote themselves the same way they can in the US. He probably wants some US gigs for visibility. |

We can only hope that he's committed enough to MM to not want to give it up. There's no reason he couldn't take something in the MM off season though. |

His career to date has been in both, so I think he has set himself up to be able to work wherever he can.....it isn't unusual for successful actors to maintain 2 residences.....

Too bad Canadian actors feel they have to do this. Lots of people maintain 2 residences. I just hate that great Canadian talent feels the need to head south of the border. It comes down to exposure. Sure MM is seen all over the world but in the entertainment psyche that doesn't count for anything if it's not big in the U.S. |
