Love seeing all the sneak peeks into season 9. William Shatner is a great addition to the show even if only one episode. I can imagine the blooper reel would be a treat to see. haha I hope Lillian's story arc is over in a few episodes. I agree with the complaints that because of new characters being brought on, it really takes away from the rest. For newly weds, Julia and William were fairly neglected but I did enjoy season 8 over all. I'm not really sure what to think with George but I feel it may have been Simon that shot his father. George thinks its Edna, and she will continue to make him think that way in order to save Simon from getting in trouble. Regardless, George will be off the hook but will have suffered repercussions because of it. I'm not a fan of her either. She is boring and I would rather see her gone, than an occasional appearance as George's wife. I didn't like Edna in Power but I think it was a gut reaction to her cause and the way she went about it. Too gung ho 'animal rights' for my taste. I did like her when she came back in S8 and I like her with George, she treats him like a man. She may be boring but I think that's her experience since marrying Brooks and being responsible for a kid especially since his father 'died'. |

Oh boy, that will be pages of speculation. Assuming it is a major character, my vote would be for Emily. I love Georgina Reilly and think she does a fantastic job but it would open the door for Julia to go back to the morgue where her involvement in William's cases would flow seamlessly. The winning formula would be restored. (But I would hate to lose Emily now that she has had some interesting character development.) |

I've just thought. During the last luncheon Lachlan said there were big changes coming in S9. I wonder if the death is Brackenreid and William finally gets his promotion. That would make way for George to become Detective with Henry as his sidekick. Of course George should be out of the force not getting his promotion but this is fiction. I hope this isn't what will happen but who knows....  |

hmm.... I wonder if it's Higgins ? It would be shocking to the viewers and he is quite loved but not one of the main characters. Not sure what the 'great changes' would be, other than his loss would be felt deeply at the station house. |

Honestly... I just.... what even?! I'm not sure I could stand if any of the original four main characters were killed off. It wouldn't be the same show. Surely the writers wouldn't do that to us, unless one of the cast members wanted to leave. I can see killing off one of the constables, they did sacrifice Hodge for a storyline. Here's the appropriate part of the article on TV-Eh?: Then a shocking death brings great change to the world of Station No. 4. So it would appear it's someone from SH4 that's going to die. This now makes me wonder about Henry because of the way it was described that Lachlan said it. Can't remember who it was that told us about this. |
