Very cool. It always amazes me how much research the props department does for this show. Imagine getting that script and coming up with a 3D visual aid for William to pose in order to pull his vision of The Last Supper out of his memory bank in a plausible way, with readily available items from 1903. Unbelievable.

The anatomical figures were used. Just like in the opening but maybe smaller. Wonderful episode. So much to dwell on before I can comment. I thought the young man at the beginning was hilarious.

I had a friend who bought Mulder and Scully action figures and put them in compromising positions where her husband would find them. Also possible with these art manniquins, lol. Kama Sutra demos...?

That was a good episode! To nitpick, I think the idea that someone was murdering Sally Brown's betrayers was on the table as soon as William had the Last Supper epiphany. I enjoyed both the set up and the theme, though. Both the statues and the art mannequins were cool gimmicks. There needs to be more Julia with drill and goggles like there needs to be more cowbell. The line where William suggests that Julia go talk to the women seemed a bit awkward - as if they had thrown Julia at the case once too often, and her involvement was becoming fan service. Anyone else get that vibe? What does walking barefoot next to the fountain imply - were they splashing their feet in the fountain a few minutes before? Noticed the loose suit jacket, too. Odd. I'm going to rewatch this ep again just for the details about electroplating. I hope there's some delightful easter egg I missed... Looking forward to eps with bigger emotional stakes.

There is so much to love about this episode!! William and Julia, truly together again. Yippee! A few of my favourites: -very cool premise...the mystery kept twisting. At one point I considered the priest! -Julia is officially back in the morgue, using power tools no less! Very BAMFY! -Brackenreid, "He hates it when I'm right" complete with smug smile and scotch, lol. -William waking Julia up to explain Last Supper lineup. Anyone notice she was on the wrong side of the bed a la The Artful Detective? And that man looked WAY to good for having been up all night pouring over files. -William: "I'll order dinner". The twitter feed had people speculating about what the hotel staff thought of all the files and conversation in that suite. -I wonder how well the morgue is going to be cleaned now that Rebecca has a copy of Gray's Anatomy! -LOVED the final scene with William and Julia walking barefoot beside the reflecting pool. Watching them film that scene made me feel the writers were addressing the marriage issue. I also had a pretty strong suspicion that Julia was back in the morgue since she had been at all the crime scenes with her medical bag.
Really enjoyed this ep. I suspected the priest at one point, I think William did too. I did notice Julia was on the wrong side of the bed. (My) Rebecca commented on how different William looked sans vest and tie, he even had his shoes off earlier when they were discussing the case then shoes and socks off in the park. I don't think we've ever seen William so lacking in clothing as many times in one ep. I wanted the tie play in that final W/J scene. William was practically naked in this ep! Of course the barefoot scene is nice, but I think my favorite was when he woke Julia up to discuss the Last Supper and the apostles and his shirt was unbuttoned, untucked, and no tie! Ooh la la!

Hmm, wonder what that one thing could be.... Difficult to imagine Wiliam as exciting in bed. This is a job for a William Fantasy.? Or maybe William invented the Mile High Club? Really? It's difficult? Have you forgotten what forces are held in check by the mighty tie?

In the Pendrick Arrow but I don't ever recall Julia riding in it.... weird.I have no doubt that William was able to convince George to lend him the bromobile for an evening...

Has anyone noticed that William's suits don't seem to be fitting him well this season? They seem too big for him. Perhaps he's got some new ones, I don't recognize at least one he wore tonight. I have noticed that they've been not just bigger this season, but also cut differently-higher in a way. I don't know if that's supposed to mean that he's just eating better these days, or if that was the style of men's suits. I should probably go and look.

Brackenreid was at his finest tonight. "Right, you've got one more day on that mumbo jumbo stuff" and his absolute conviction that James Kirkham was the killer.
He did raise a very good point though. How did Ginny know so much about the Last Supper and electroplating? I can accept that she had seen the painting in passing but well enough to pose characters in the correct positions? Kirkham said she was interested in the work at his factory but again, well enough to have figured out or read an an obscure article about electroplating a body? Not to mention how a small woman single-handedly transported 3 bodies in and out of the factory and to the various parks. I'm choosing to suspend disbelief on this part. I toyed with the idea that Cora helped her but I don't think so. Sally had been talking to the priest before she was hung, perhaps Ginny had been as well after Sally's death? Perhaps she saw the painting at the church, and listened to the priest talk of the story of the painting. But yeah, I'm at a loss as to how she moved those bodies around as well without any help, or even learned the electroplating process. Perhaps she was listening when her client was talking....

Now that's more like it. This was a really good episode, an interesting crime (though a bit obvious), featured all characters, and loads of W/J, including an adorable kiss. I love when William and Julia work on cases together, they're such a great investigative team.
Rebecca seems nice and I'm intrigued by how she's so educated, but working as a cleaner. This should be a good arc.
Though I think the show have plot holes going on by not telling us a) why Julia decided to become the coroner again, b) what happened with the asylum, and c) how is Emily doing. They need to tell us.

I noticed Rebecca is secondary cast credits on the end of the episode, after Higgins. So, at least right now she's on Higgins level in the cast.
