I agree I thought this was a delightful episode with so much to enjoy except Meyers and Clegg both gone how sad. Some of my favorite scenes involve both of them. However, much Pendrick left to explore and we never did find out what's up with the Svetlana leg thing. I really think Clegg will be back after all he ended up Ambassador even though he was run out of Canada before. He has eyes on Canada as the next colony for the US. I cannot see how Meyers could come back but I hope he does. I think Rebecca is going to be very interesting for Julia. Maybe that is why there was so much about her being tired last episode so she can get an assistant. And so on and so on and so on. I love this show. There was a question and answer with Peter Keleghan on FB and he believes Myers is A) alive; B) in Borneo; C) what happens in Borneo, stays in Borneo; and D) he'll be back......he has also volunteered for a new spin off series, The Myers Mysteries......
An observation......Sarah Mitich, Tamara Hope and Peter Keleghan figured prominently in Fan Day.....we are less than half way through and all 3 are gone.......hmmmm......be careful, Arwen Humphries......
I hope he comes back too, although I'll be interested to see how they accomplish that. I also remember that on the panel Keleghan stated that he wanted Meyers to shamelessly flirt with Julia "just to piss Murdoch off." I'd actually like to see that. Watched it again just now, this time with hubby, and he made the comment that many here may or may not get. "If Ranger Gord was lonely in the fire watchtower before..."

WIN!!!!!! But seriously, what's a more MM way of phrasing that? Science and dominoes perhaps? S & M When they said 'project D had been activated' I just about fell out of my chair....but they weren't wrong, given how the ep ended. "Science and Murder"? Or how about "theory and discussion". "Moving pictures and dominoes"?

He always makes me laugh. Clegg is better of gone for good. His character was really very nasty. Now this is a weird question: Did anybody else think that the shoulders on WM's suit looked too wide? It seems that this season his suits do not seem to be as well-fitting as they have been in the past. Does anyone know if it was the fashion back then?

Pendrick already outlined that you'd need some sort of parachute or hangglider or flying suit to escape the rocket safely.
Unless Myers is lucky enough to land on a hot air balloon a'la James Bond...I don't see that happening. Or if he lands in the ocean and can swim to shore.

I've only had time to watch this once, but what a fun episode! Really enjoyed the relationship between Murdoch and Pendrick, especially since Peter S. didn't appear last year. I enjoy all of the guys in this "regular guest stars" trio, even if (as someone else here also seems to feel) Clegg is my least favorite of the 3. And that's nothing against Matthew Bennett- I really like him as an actor and have seen him (all 3 actually) in several things. I was sorry he and Peter S. weren't in a scene together though - I previously posted under another episode how well the two worked together onscreen. George would be jealous if he knew James got a bro hug from William LOL. Although under the circumstances "I FLEW!!!" George hasn't had much to do the last couple of episodes, I assume to balance his screen time in the first couple. But I've admitted before - I always hope for more George, lol. BTW, for folks that don't use Twitter or Tumblr, you can still view accounts on the computer. See if this link works for Craig's Twitter - twitter.com/MonkeyLairLabs If not you can just google Prop Monkey Twitter. He often postz a lot of pictures!

I like the fact that James & William are becoming more trusting and friendly towards each other. Honestly I felt this should've happened SOONER (??), but that it's happening at all is good news.

There's loads of examples of women's fashions from the era, but not so much for men. I can't tell if that was just the style back then, or if they just opted not to tailor them as much as they did in the past. Previously, William has had well-fitted suits, but as of right now, they're verging on ill-fitting.

He wouldn't have survived that flight. I was hoping we'd gotten rid of his character, too much to hope for.

I asked the same question a few days ago. I'm not sure if it's the suits or the way Yannick's wearing the jackets. They're either too wide across the shoulders or he's not adjusting the way they sit when he puts them on. I don't like it, he was always so smart in the past.

Actually, I wonder if that's kind of the joke...that BECAUSE of Pendrick's inventions getting destroyed early on, Canada was always behind everyone else in innovation. Oh, I'll dispute this one......Canada has always punched above its weight when it comes to inventions and discoveries, from medical developments, like insulin, the cranial shunt, Pablum, etc., inventions like the telephone, standard time, innovations like the Avro Arrow, snowmobiles, SeaDoos, creativity in war time, like the creeping barrage in WWI........we've actually done quite well......if Pendrick hadn't kept screwing up and could finish well, he'd be in very good company....... Fair enough. But Pendrick's Arrow was obviously a nod towards the Avro, which got cancelled abruptly...and we're still sitting on those fancy Bombardier commercial jets with years of production left and billions more dollars needed, half of which Trudeau is not intent on giving them. So they'll probably never finish that project either. And if they do, there will probably be some more advanced thing available by then making these jets obsolete.

I clearly don't have much of an eye for fashion cuz I have yet to notice what y'all are going on about in any of this seasons eps

dominoes (we should really get an emoji for that on this site) or netflix and dominoes WIN!!!!!! But seriously, what's a more MM way of phrasing that? Science and dominoes perhaps? William would look at it as "the science OF dominoes" And then would explain his theory to Julia in great detail.
