As per the CBC: While investigating a golfer's murder, Murdoch becomes obsessed with the game.
If ever there was a sport for Murdoch to analyse to death......I wonder if he'll wear plus fours with argyle socks......

I can totally see W becoming obsessed with golf...and perhaps Julia joining him in some bloomers. At one point, I saw a pic of W in knickers and argyle socks....don't have time to find it right now.

This title made me curious...what the heck is a case of the yips?
Well I found out:
yips
noun: informal
extreme nervousness causing a golfer to miss easy putts.
This makes me laugh because I've lived with golfers my whole life, even been a caddy on many occasions, but I have never heard this term before.

Funny, I thought the expression was quite common and not just in golf (although, my whole golf game could be considered one big yip)....I've heard it used in hockey too.....makes a nice change from "He's clutching his stick too hard..."

I just don't get what people see in golf. Walking around hitting a ball, you may as well just go for a walk in the park....

Well, it has been described as an expensive way to mess up a walk.......I quite enjoy it, but I don't get too bent out of shape over it.....most of the time I don't even keep score......however, I can't watch it......like watching paint dry.....

I've played 'pitch & putt' oh and one 9 hole round of golf but that's my limit. I'd rather ride my bike.

I come from a family of golfers as well, and have never heard of this either. I'll have to ask my dad, brother, and uncles about it. I agree with Hodge, I'll never understand the appeal of watching it, and I wonder who will comment upon that-George or Thomas? I've never enjoyed playing it, but I do enjoy knocking back beers while driving the cart. Don't judge-it's treasured daddy/daughter time!

First - CONGRATS FALLENBELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe you didn't mention this blessing. Anyone who has spent some quality time here would know how important this was for you. I hope your baby turns out to be as healthily big and jolly as Roland!!!!
I've tried to stay away since I haven't been able to view the ep yet. But I am weak. >.< I agree that PM went ahead with the Bundle of Joy because he has a pattern of playing out bad ideas instead of letting fan fantasies build up without a vent. I also doubt that Roland will remain part of the Murdoch family for much longer. >.<

Julia is enjoying swinging that club far too much to allow herself to become a golf widow. Those two nerds would be hilarious working on the better handicap! Hmmm, would this modern parenting thing include trying to bring Roland along for a round? Love William's golf gear!

Evilpete is baiting us again. He posted this on FB yesterday...
Peter Mitchell: My favourite of this season's lighthearted episodes, also one of the last of its kind...
