I don't have a lot of time to post these days but try to keep up on reading the forum and have missed your posts!!

Maybe there's not a cliffhanger this year?  Maybe this is resolved in a single episode?  I haven't seen mention of a cliffhanger this season like I did last, so...

Who am I kidding?  Of course we're getting a cliffhanger!

So I'll jump right back into the forum, again..feet first.

Seeing the preview for the finale and noting that the Black Hand & Falcone were back in the picture in "From Buffalo With Love", I checked out "Stroll on the Wild Part 2" to refresh my memory of the "agreement" that saved Anna's life. Falcone noted that Anna meant something to Murdoch and agreed the'd leave her alone on the agreement that, "one day when the time is right" Murdoch would return the favour. Since Anna's out of the picture now and it's Julia that means something to William, possibly the Black Hand/Falcone feels William has forgotten/failed to return the favour and suddenly it's payback time for William. Is the Falcone Jr story played out yet?

At the end of Stroll on the Wild Side 2 Falcone said, via Brackenreid, the debt had been paid. This has something to do with someone else, IMO possibly Eva Pearce as she has a personal grudge against William, and Julia in particular.

Sometimes you just tweet on impulse. I assume the production staff messaged her about deleting it because it was a big spoiler. Luckily we've all already seen it so we don't have to stress over Julia's fate, even if they try to leave her with a cliffhanger.

So glad to hear that Helene accidentally tweeted she'll be back next season LOL. I was feeling so scared for a few. I probably still will be until I see the episode where Julia is ok.

I don't know who wants to kill Julia and like Carco, I thought that "The Black Hand" was back and I never thought of Eva PIERCE but it's quite plausible.
But to be honest, my first question was to know if Julia really was the target or if it was just a combination of circumstances. Indeed, it could have been William if he had opened the door instead of Julia.
I just hope that we won't have to wait until the next season for knowing if Julia will survive and if she will be fine.
I also thought -and I don't like this idea- that maybe they could pretend that Julia is dead until they find the culprit and she will "temporarily" -and I know that it could last a very long long long time- be obliged to leave Toronto and go to Europa -a way to explain her absence during the first twelve episodes of the tenth season.
After all, the writers adore to seraparate the couple.
