When I saw the title I wondered if the archer would be Julia. For a few moments when William was tied up, I was flash backing to The Murdoch Trap: I am sure that was intentional!! Kudos to all of you who called Eva: that did make sense. I'm with you Fallenbelle: Bamf Julia is the best: she has a mean right hook, and she can shoot an arrow even when weak. And of course, being a Detective Gadget Geek, i loved the brain wave machine! Misery came to mind for me and I've only seen the movie once and never read the book. I could think of no one else but Eva as an adversary that would have it in for Julia. Only William, when his wife was in hospital, would turn to science and build something! He loves to build when he is stressed: remember when Julia refused his proposal and he went back to his office and started tinkering with his bike? But this time, he had a real purpose, and he was not going to be discouraged by anyone, not even the Inspector.

Yes it is but she didn't miss. Perhaps she wasn't trying to kill her. Another great Julia fight scene. It was a miss in that it wasn't a clean kill, which I would have loved to have seen.....I did shout YES! and did a fist pump when Eva died..... I have to admit I didn't. I think she deserved to be hung, that was too easy. It did set up for a nice scene at the end though.

That would be good especially as Yannick has been working out but I suspect the house will be built by next season. I know...I've seen those pictures he's been posting, and I'm over here just thinking "why can't you do that in character?" Where are these pictures?

I don't usually go for that kind of pic as I'm not into muscular men (their suits don't fit well) but he's not overly muscular, just buff. I'd like to see William looking buff.

I'm guessing it's because that was the only thing he could do?

I'm on my third viewing and I still can't get over what a strange abrupt end that was.

I'm on my third viewing and I still can't get over what a strange abrupt end that was. When I watched I couldn't get over how fast the time went. I thought only half an hour had gone by and we were at the end. But I have only watched it once so far.

Strange ending? Maybe Murdoch married a murderer? Thanks for a great ending to a great season, Pete. Here's to a successful season 10. (BTW, what was with all the red heads in this episode?)

Strange ending? Maybe Murdoch married a murderer? Strange as in abrupt, felt cut short. Perhaps it was the editing. He did marry a murderer though I don't think she had much choice.... Thinking about it this is the second person Julia has killed.
