Hi there, I discovered Murdoch mysteries around 2 months ago as I was on the alibi channel. Gave it a try and loved it. Love the setting and its so refreshing to see how people lived without all those new technologies. I love seeing the discovery of the previous invention. Loved the microwave episode and the Camera at the police, specially when Georges Crabtree made allusion to the big brother of today and I laughed when he said that he would not like to be a police man in the future. Too right, Georges. Anyway, I think I nearly caught up on all episodes on you tube,, only season 1 left. I am up to date with the continuity in the story but it took mw a while to undestand the relationship between Murdoc and Ogden because they brok up twice in the same season 2 and I was mostly confused for a while! I understood now. My favourite episode so far is the one with Houdini. I really like Julia's sister, Ruby. I think both sisters are so different and the age gap makes it even more funny. Love the show and I can't wait to see the new episode of season 5 tomorrow night, episode 7.

Hi, I am new here as well, and needless to say, I really enjoy Murdoch Mysteries. It is an entertaining show, and well written and acted. I record it whenever it is on. Hope to talk with some fellow Murdochites!?

Greetings all.
I'm Jane, from London, and I adore the Murdoch Mysteries. My second favourite show, after A Town Called Eureka.
Bizarrely, I know Rondetto from a couple of other forums. It's a small, small, internet!

Welcome, Jane. Yes, the Internet can actually be a small world after all.

I'm a newbie, I suppose, though I've watched Murdoch Mysteries for a long time. Also, I've lurked here for almost a week before joining, so in my mind, I'm less of a newbie than an actual newbie.

Hi all.
As the name suggests I'm now a Murdoch Mysteries addict. I've watched all 6 series in a few days.....gotta love youtube!!!! I hadn't planned to watch it all in such a short time frame but it was so addictive and I had to click 'next'!! I used to watch it on Alibi if it was on, but not specifically for MM.
I am well and truly hooked now and am really enjoying watching them again for a second time....totally addicted!!!! I love all the characters but have a soft spot for Julia and William (feel like banging their heads together)!!! I woke the whole house up screaming at the laptop when Julia married Darcy.
Thanks for this forum....it's marvellous!!!
Mags xx

Welcome, mmaddict! That is quite a marathon!! I watched S1-3 on YT in the fall of 2010. I think I saw them all in a couple of weeks.
