Season Two Episode Two: Snakes and Ladders
Episode Synopsis: When Alberta Moffat is found dead Murdoch begins to wonder what they have come up against. A Scotland Yard Inspector, Edward Scanlon, tells him that he's been persuing a suspect who he believes to be Jack the Ripper. Soon after there is another victim found, Gloria Abercrombie, who has recently moved to Toronto. Murdoch hopes that he can get a psychological profile of the killer from Dr. Roberts. Using a UV light, a new invention, he discovers where the murders took place. Dr. Ogden accepts Murdoch's invitation to the Dinasaur Ball but they have one problem, Murdoch can't dance.

Season Two Episode Three: Dinosaur Fever
Episode Synopsis: Det. Murdoch and Dr. Ogden attend the Dinosaur Ball and put their new dancing skills to the test. Barkely Blake, the host, is about to reveal his latest finds from the fields of Alberta when a religious fanatic interrupts the proceedings but when the dinosaur is shown there is a body in its jaws. Dr. Ogden believes that DeWitt was shot but using a new photographic device that takes special pictures with x-rays, they are unable to locate a bullet. There is no shortage of suspects including, Professor Rudolph Sutton, one of Blake's rivals.

Season Two Episode Four: Houdini Whodunit
Episode Synopsis: Harry Houdini visits Toronto when Joe Decker, a bank guard, is killed in the bank next door while Harry is performing. Dr. Ogden, Det. Murdoch and Insp. Brackenreid were in the audience. For Dr. Ogden the biggest surprise of the night is her sister, Ruby, appears as Houdini's assistant. Working with Houdini, Murdoch is able to show how the robbery is based on illusion.

Season Two Episode Five: The Green Muse
Episode Synopsis: Det. Murdoch investigates the murder of Cora Devereaux, a prostitute, in a posh bordello. She had only been working there for about six months when she was garrotted. Madame Ettie Wilson said that she had to remove a particularly obsessed customer, Arthur Webster, who is a well-known artist. Dr. Ogden discovers, during the autopsy, that Cora had been drinking absinthe and that she has no defensive wounds. Suspect falls on a prominent judge, as well as the artist, he admits that he woke in the dead lady's room only to find her dead.

Season Two Episode Six: Shades of Grey
Episode Synopsis: Det. Murdoch investigates when a young woman's body, Lily Dunn, is found in a ditch. It's learned that she was fired from her job the day she died. According to Dr. Ogden the young bled to death and probably haemorrhaged after an abortion. With his relationship with Julia getting more serious Murdoch is feeling a little jealous when he see's Julia leaving Dr. Tash's office, a one-time admirer of Julia's. When he learns the truth about the case he has to re-evaluate his place and possibly his relationship with Julia.

Seaon Two Episode Seven: Big Murderer on Campus
Episode Synopsis: Detective Murdoch investigates the murder of a university professor, Samuel Bennett, who was killed with a shot to the head while looking through his telescope at his university residence. Murdoch finds out that Bennett didn't get along with another Professor, Albert Godfrey, and that they frequently argued. Constable Crabtree puts an advertisement in the local newspaper looking for his biological mother. When he was a baby he was left on the steps of a church and was then raised by the Minister and his family. Two women turn up at the station house claiming to be his mother. Murdoch helps to identify Crabtree's mother when he is shot while working on the case.

Season Two Episode Eight: I, Murdoch
Episode Synopsis: Alwyn Jones reports seeing a huge knight in the woods, Detective Murdoch takes interest and walks Alwyn home. Here he meets Alwyn's mother, Enid Jones. There has been a murder so Murdoch is called away. The victim is Professor Ezra Delamore. Dr. Ogden performs the autopsy ans confirms that the Professor was poisoned and that the fatal dose was administered in an unusual way. Alwyn disappears, meaning that Murdoch searches for him. On the way they find a dwarf floating in the river, who has also been poisoned. Terrence Meyers, a government agent, is also involved in the case. Murdoch and Dr. Ogden's relationship is not yet back on track but she seems to be coming around slowly. It might not amount to anything as Det. Murdoch visits Enid.

Season Two Episode Nine: Convalescence
Episode Synopsis: While chasing a suspect Murdoch falls breaking several broken bones and causing a gash on his arm. Dr. Ogden looks after him while he is bedridden but leaves when Enid arrives. Mrs. Kitchen leaves to look after her sick sister when Murdoch starts to hear strange noises. He can't quite figure out where it's coming from. When he takes a turn for the worst Enid asks Julia for help. While Murdoch is recovering Crabtree takes over the investigation as acting Detective. He finds the crime scene and starts to believe that the only witness is a talking parrot.

Season Two Episode Ten: Murdoch.com
Episode Synopsis: Murdoch investigates a murder of a young lady which was made to look like a suicide. Murdoch finds that the victim was a telegraph operator from the calluses on her index finger. He knows that Enid is a telegrapher and has been helping Murdoch much to Julia's dismay. They soon learn that she may have been communicating with someone over the telegraph with the initials AK. Murdoch uses Enid information to make a trap for the man which makes Enid angry. It become apparent, later, that the man knows who Enid is. Brackenreid has been trying to steer clear from alcohol after his wife joined the temperance league and has been taking injections to take away the cravings. These injections have been affecting him in a funny way and with good reason.

Season Two Episode Eleven: Let Us Ask the Maiden
Episode Synopsis: Murdoch’s investigation into the death of a young Jewish man leads to Toronto’s small Jewish ghetto – the Ward. There he finds a tale of forbidden romance and himself again being drawn to Dr. Ogden.

Season Two Episode Twelve: Werewolves
Episode Synopsis: There's a full moon in the sky and Toronto may have a werewolf on the prowl. The first victim, a prominent banker, is found mauled to death in the warehouse district. His death is soon followed by the death of several others, information points to the fact that the men all knew one another and had recently been on a hunting trip together. The police use the services of a native tracker, Jimmy McLeod. He aspires to be a police constable but race prevents that from ever happening. In his personal life, it is apparent to Enid that Murdoch still harbours feelings for Dr. Ogden. She tells him that the time has come for him to make a commitment to her and her son Alwyn or end their relationship.

Season Two Episode Thirteen: Anything You Can Do
Episode Synopsis: Murdoch finds himself in competition with another police officer when he investigates the death of Humphrey Breen who has fallen, or was pushed, out of a third floor window. The rival is North West Mounted Police Sgt. Jasper Linney who has come to Toronto from British Columbia to interview Breen, a possible witness in a death he is investigating in his own jurisdiction. Murdoch and Linney are a lot alike in their interests and also in the way they try to use modern investigative techniques in their investigations. The murders centre around a possible mining claim in British Columbia, there is evidence of fraud. When Murdoch sees his father's name on a list of possible land speculators, he travels there with Sgt. Linney. He soon learns more about the Sergeant than he could have imagined. As for his personal life, Murdoch has to figure out how to re-connect with Dr. Ogden now he has ended his relationship with Enid.

Season Three Episode One: The Murdoch Identity
Episode Synopsis: Murdoch finds himself unshaven, dishevelled, battered and bruised, running for his life through the streets of Bristol, England - a long way from his home. Someone is trying to kill him. He takes refuge in a pub where Anna Fulford (Lisa Faulkner) an attractive, vivacious barmaid works. Instantly drawn to Murdoch, a handsome stranger, she asks who he is and where he's from but there's one problem - he has no idea. All he knows is that he was pulled from a train with a ticket to Bristol. The name on the ticket is not his but he has no idea what his own name is.

Season Three Episode Two: The Great Wall
Episode Synopsis: Station House Four are dreaming up ways to win the upcoming police games when they are called to Station Five's district One of their constables, Constable Cooper has been murdered and their Detective is ill. But as Murdoch investigates, he finds the constables of Station Five single minded about who committed the murder, Fong Choy, an older member of the Chinese Community. Murdoch's investigations tell him the murder had something to do with Fong Choy's granddaughter Mei-Li but she is nowhere to be found and Fong Choy won't talk. As Murdoch investigates further he realises that the murderer is that much closer to home.

Season Three Episode Three: Victor, Victorian
Episode Synopsis: In a Masonic temple an initiate is paraded through a group of men. A skeleton appears with a skull full of wine in his hands.The initiates drink from the skull with much cheering and applause. There's a problem... the initiate falls to the ground, dead. Two members step forward to tell nobody to move. Those to members are Inspector Brackenreid and Constable Crabtree.
