Mmmm, I doubt it since the women we've seen have said they're run off their feet raising the many children they have, not just giving birth to them. I have a feeling this child is from William's past quite awhile ago. It's not a baby but an older child about 8 or so. Either that or it's an older child William and Julia or Anna adopt.

I would like the new writers to go back and watch and re-watch S1 to S4 to see what MM is all about before they start writing S6. So far I have found S5 disapointing.

Which child r u talking about Hannikan? I agree with u Petunia, the writers need to re-read the scripts of all season b4 season 5.

Well, I sort of let it slip out. Sorry But I figure since this is a S6 discussion a sort of spoiler about S5 is not frowned upon? If you don't want to know then don't click here: www.imdb.com/name/nm4689589 It's possible it's in a dream, since we also know a time machine will be involved. So it could be like at the end of Dinosaur Fever.

I see what u mean about the end of Dinosaur fever. I liked the end scene. Yeah, that would be good, more like a wish come true about one of the pictures.

Okay here is my running list of things I'd like to see in S6.
1) More snow and maybe a skating party for William and Julia to attend. Maybe around Christmas Time? 2) 1-2 more episodes on the Black Hand that resolve things completely. I would want to see Anna appear in at least one of them but William be clear that Julia is the only woman for him. I want Anna to be able to find someone else. 3) The return of Sally Pendrick/Hubbard as a con woman with some other past criminal as her side kick. I would like James to help William capture her. 4) More Dr. Roberts 5) More Margaret Brackenreid 6) Ruby!! My dream would be her getting a job at a TO paper and being permanent. But since that probably won't happen, I'll take at least 1 episode with her in it. 7) More Higgins! We've never really had a Higgins focused episode unless you count War on Terror where he was injured. We need something more Higgins focused. 8) A murder at the ballet 9) A murder on a train, not a local train like in the Black Hand but a cross-country train. Maybe while Julia and William are traveling somewhere together. The train could get held up and then a murder happen that they have to solve on the train while being held captive. 10) It would be fun to have a Halloween episode. The first recorded example of Halloween costumes in Ontario was in 1911 but that probably means it had been going on for awhile. It would be fun to have an episode where a murderer slips into a costume party or murders someone out on the street in costume.

I like your 10 ideas Hannikan . Smashing storylines;and I will try to come with some wishes too when I thought about it a bit more. Hopefully the writers could read the board for ideas and how to please the fans. I particularly like the Sally/ James idea, the Ruby and the W/J in the train and the skating party.

Okay, I guess seeing Dr. Roberts again is unlikely now. Maybe at the end of S6 they'll thaw him out? I they do, would they charge him with the murder of Gideon Turner? Well, anyway I was thinking "William Murdoch Jr" said he was 8 in 1912. So he was born in 1904. So William and Julia have 4 years to get married and have this child one way or another. Of course, he was just part of William's hypnotic seizure, too.

SPOILER WARNING...FROM SEASON 5, last episode. ...skip if u don't wanna know....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Yes, but William did say to Julia that he has seen the future(although we know it was seizure and imagination taking place but here was sweet little son and happy Julia) therefore he really wants a son with Julia one way or another. I think they will make it happen both of them and they will have a little William Murdoch by 1904; well I hope so. They deserve a happy future with child or children if they want to. Would be funny if they had a daughter though. I can just see Julia making all thoses pretty maxi dresses but I guess if they had a daughter, it will be the natural way. If they adopt , I think they will try to adopt a boy if it is at all possible to do that?? May be it's not because I suppose u need to be register for a while and may be have a pregnant lady but at that time, it was impossible to know the sex of the baby before it was born, so may it could be a girl!!! unless they can adopt a baby once being born without legal papers before hand but I don't know anything how the adoption law from 1900.!!

They didn't even truly have adoption like we do today. There was no registration really. People just took care of orphans. Usually it was someone they were related to. There wasn't a process like now. If you agreed to look after a child, they gave them to you. But even today you cannot request a boy or girl actually. I know because my husband and I have looked into it. William said he saw the future but he meant in a general sense. I don't think that means they will have a boy that exact age. Or that it will necessarily be a boy. It just means that William wanted to have the general future he saw of he and Julia together and with a child to happen.

SPOILERS..................................................................................................................................... Yeah, that's what I meant. A child will be in William and Julia's future. May be , they will even adopt 2 or more at one time! lol. Who knows!! and thank you Hannikan about the infos on adoption in 1900. I suppose then, they will adopt pretty quickly as long as they don't have to be married. The more I think about it and the more I think the divorce or the end of the marriage may not be that crucial as a storyline in season 6 because they resolved the William and Julia issue pretty quickly in last week episode. Who would have guessed that they would have kissed in the last episode of season 5 and be together again so quickly. I don't think the divorce will be a big deal. I don't even think we will see Darcy again. They need to get on with the show which is a crime show and not dwell on what happened in season 5 on the love level. They need to concentrate on Julia's new job as a profiler and how she will be helping William and station 4. There is no time in season 6 to bring Darcy back. I think Darcy will divorce her and will find a good reason not to damage her to much in the process. He is not evil, he is just in love and wanted to keep her but now, he knows and he told her to be with the one she loves, end of story. I 'd rather see some good MM with profiler Ogden, detective Murdoch and all station 4 than waste the time on the Darcy divorce. Hope season 6 is great with some smashing stories and great William/Julia chemistry and interaction.

They would need to be married to take become guardians of a child. Or they'd have to be brother and sister living together. They'd need to be a family. But there wouldn't be a long, drawn out legal process. Very little paperwork. I don't think the divorce process would be quick. But it may get resolved over just a few episodes. There could be a long break between the seasons. There was 6 months between S3 and 4. So it may be like that again and when we see them next, they may already be half way through dealing with it all. We'll just have to see. There will be plenty of time for new cases.

I think so too Hannikan. Season 6 will probably be a few months later and not new years day. May be Valentine's day! lol. Only kidding. I think we will see Julia and William at work mostly and leave the past in the past. I hopeThe writers will concentrate on the future and the divorce will probably be just around the corner. I hope we won't see Darcy anymore, there is no point. May be , she can mention him quickly and if the writers want to but I'd rather not. I would just prefer to see her somewhere signing the legal papers and that's it . And let's get on with the profiling and finding the culprits with a bit of love in between.

I think since Darcy himself seems to want the divorce as much as Julia, I can't see too much fuss and bother being made. I personally would like to see them taking time to get to know each other romantically, before they start with children, and to be honest I really hope the writers don't suddenly make her able to have children, that would just make the whole break up in season 3, engagement and subsequent marriage in season 4, completely pointless. Personally I really hope the writers stick to what they have been doing until now, murder and mystery on the forefront with a dose of relationship on the side. I also hope that they do their homework and address the very real problems that both their religious beliefs, and the even more complicated problems of two strong willed very opinionated people trying to become a couple, would face in the turn of the century. We already had a taste of what Darcy was going through when his wife refused to conform for him or society, and the outside problems that brought in between them, while I imagine Murdoch would not be so easily swayed, having his wife/girlfriend/ partner running an illegal birth control clinic would create a lot of friction for him... Whichever way it goes, I'm really looking forward to season 6.
