You mean, the Alberta Badlands, Ron? Yeah, that is true. I don't know that they would move there permanently but William always wanted to go there to study the rock formations. So maybe he would take a sabbatical from work and study there for a year when their child is old enough.

Yep saw that too, I knew #6 was the 1st being filmed because Yannick Bisson directed it and he usually does time 1st before filming the rest of the season but i didn't think the rest of the episodes were not filmed in order, it is a bit odd but i guess it depends on locations, who's available when etc....

Just realized something with the names of the episodes for season 6, so far all of them have "Murdoch" in them. I know that there were in past seasons few episodes with the name "Murdoch" in them (except for season 1 none of the episodes are named after Murdoch) but do you think it might be because writers might be stuck idea wise with new episode's titles so by putting Murdoch into all of them there is some kind of a trend. Just a thought and I might be wronged if a new episode's title for season 6 comes up without "Murdoch" in it

Murdoch on the Corner might be jazz music themed since it's a word play on the album by Miles Davis. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Corner If it is, I will be tres happy. Or it could just literally be about some murder on the corner. But I hope it's a deeper reference than that. I assume the first one is about early flight (duh). Will the Wright Bros be making an appearance perhaps? Or will William and Julia be in another hot air balloon? I'm not sure what "the cloud of doom" is referencing unless it's something more modern that William and a few others realize/discover before larger society does like they have before. A nuclear bomb or the impact of global warming? Or something somewhat sci-fi inspired? The public often becomes alarmist about the apocalypse at the end of centuries/beginning of centuries so maybe it will have something to do with that? Apparently Slugger Jackson will be in it in addition to Thomas' one son. Maybe Slugger is coaching a youth baseball team, now? Oh and John Brackenreid will be in Murdoch Air, too. So maybe we'll be getting a bit more of the Brackenreid's.

Cloud of doom could be about nerve gas or something. A poisonous gas storyline.
As for the episodes being filmed out of sequence, it's not unusual for that to happen for shows who are filming entire series all at once. They film in blocks of episodes depending on location, actor etc availability.

Yeah, it's not ep 1, 2 and 3. It's 2, 3 and 6. That's true it could be nerve gas or some poison that gets in the air in Cloud of Doom.

An actor from Downton Abbey will play Churchill (can't remember his name though) and James Pendrick is coming back!!!! Sounds good to me

Which Downton Abbey actor? My 2 current favorite shows colliding! I love it I found it! It's Thomas Howes who played William. photo: Is he playing a young Winston Churchill?

He's a bit too good looking to play a young Churchill lol.
If Pendrick is coming back does that mean Sally will turn up, I wonder.
I am rewatching the show right now. I'm currently up to 402. I had forgotten how much I missed all the team in scenes together. I am praying S6 has Julia in loads of team scenes. S5 just didn't come close to S1-3 in anyway.

Yes that is the twitter pic that I saw. I have seen Downton Abbey so I knew he was from that show but I didn't know his name. I do believe he will play a young Churchill. I don't know about Sally Pendrick coming back, definitely saw a pic of the actor playing James pendrick near an airplane (whouu intriguing!!) As for Julia I do hope as well she is in all the episodes next season , I don't see why not though as she clearly will work with William and be in a relationship with him. I also prefer when all the cast is together in the same episode. I loved the scene in the final episode of season 5 where they are all going to see the time machine only to find Dr. Roberts being frozen, it reminded me of the last scene of season 1 "the annoying red planet" when you have all 4 of them talking about a case!!! Anyway I hope there will be more fun info coming about season 6, as long as it doesn't tell too much about the plot I am fine with these snippets

Yup, I wonder if Pendrick will be in the one called Murdoch Air, ep 2, then. Yeah, I don't know what Churchill looked like when he was young. Ah, here's a photo of him: He does look a bit like him. I don't think Thomas Howes is any better looking.

That's just a good angle. Here's what he really looked like: He was more piggy faced than the actor. So he is a bit too good looking.

Yeah, I saw that one, too. He's a few years older in it. But it is from 1900, which is when the episode would be. They can also do wonders with make-up (ie: adding latex). And the make-up artist on MM is great. Thomas Howes could look very different in the episode. It's just funny to me to call him good looking at all. He's kind of funny looking to me. You can't see it in that picture either. But he'd a good actor and seems like a nice guy.

I never said he was good looking lol. I said he was too good looking to be a young Winston Churchill. The man was never anything but ugly, I hate to say it but he was.
