I think some resolution between William and Dr. Tash would be a good thing. I believe Wm's issue with Dr. Tash has more to do with his being an abortionist which is an illegal practice. Fairly straightforward. It was Dr. Fitch who raised the point about privilege and prosecution. It did make Wm think but he doesn't like people who break the law. The fact that Tash saved Julia's life is the only plus on his scorecard from William's point of view.

The fact that Tash saved Julia's life is the only plus on his scorecard from William's point of view. Yes, unfortunately Dr. Tash earned those brownie points after William confronted him. But he has yet to see Dr. Tash as a force for good in the world, and part of William's journey is to see that the law does not always match what is right or honor what is true. That's why I think William needs to meet Dr. Tash again: I think he's ready for that step now, whereas he wasn't the last time they met.

William's enlightenment in principles of law and religion has begun. Being married to Julia is going to accelerate that journey somewhat I think. At least William won't have to deal with his jealousy over Julia's relationship with Tash provided she is up front about contacting him before it happens. This scenario can be played either way. One will have William looking forward, the other will have him getting more entrenched in his current beliefs.

Julia could pull a Sally Pendrick on him and start sashaying about with artists and posing au natural for modern "landscape" portraits.

Or Julia could pose for William in nothing but the magic homburg. Haha, that might give William some flashbacks of "dark places". *waits for someone to do a vid to "You Can Leave Your Hat On"*

I'm surprised that no one realized that there's more than one reason to use a prophylactic.. I'm guessing if we used the modern word for it everyone would know immediately - protection. We started using that term when public awareness campaigns for STDs swarmed the media but syphilis is referenced more than once in the series. Unable to get pregnant would not prevent infection. As a doctor she would know that.

The conversation about The Green Muse is scattered around the forum, though - some of it might be in the Julia section, Shippers, or threads discussing whether William is a virgin or not. I'll look around and see if I can find it for you.
