The timeline is really bothering me in both these episodes. How can Gillies walk into the house dressed as Julia and be the carriage driver that took her and Dolly? Didn't the nosey neighbor say it was just before she heard the shot? I am sure there is an explanation but I can't seem to get it straight in my mind. His carriage had very fast horses so Gillies raced back and forth between cities. My understanding of the "automatic" gun was so that the timing of the shot could be separated from when Gillies could be there. I remember the nosey neighbor talking about seeing "Julia" but not hearing the shot. She could have also just been making that last part up.

Well as I have commented before there are some very fine carriage horses used in this show. LOL you are probably right about the neighbor I will watch the court episode again and see where I went I thought that was said. The nosey neighbor certainly had it in for Julia.
