Wasn't there actually a real guy that was on the titanic named William Murdoch? O.o

The 1997 Titanic film courted controversy when it suggested that Officer Murdoch committed suicide. It infuriated his descendants and James Cameron was forced to apologise for it.
I would love for there to be some sort of mystery onboard a ship. I cling to the hope that Murdoch and Ogden have to solve a murder on their honeymoon ship on the way back to Toronto.
"Presenting, Detective and Doctor Murdoch".
Or it could be that a ship docks in Toronto and that a steward finds a dead body in one of the cabins. The constabulary is brought in and Murdoch takes on the case.

"Big Ship" could mean anything. It could be an ocean-liner, it could be a honeymoon ship for Murdoch & Ogden. It could be searching a shipwreck. It could be a model sitting on Murdoch's desk for all we know.
The question is, how many scenarios about a 'big ship' could we think up?
And of those scenarios, which one/s would be most applicable to a TV show set in the time of MM?

According to IMDB, episode 5 (the one being filmed now under Yannick's direction) is called Murdoch of thy Living Dead. I guess that would be the episode with zombies. And, as Georgina Reilly said on twitter, she sees dead people!!

X-ray technology in the late Victorian/Early 20th century period was revolutionary stuff, and pretty advanced. But a total lack of understanding about the dangers of radiation meant that radiologists suffered horribly for their science. The radiation-burns meant that they often died from the poisoning, or from infection, or because they had to have so many of their fingers/hands/arms amputated because of the dead tissue that they just couldn't function anymore.

Ahaha. I love the iPhone sitting in the corner of the photo. And Helene looks great- no blue thing, no old lady look...

I'd bet that this 7x5 Murdoch of the Living Dead is indeed the zombie episode.
Does anyone know how long the average amount of days it takes to film one episode? I'm guessing it varies, but I'd just like to know the average.

Apparently in today's filming, Murdoch is interviewing a character first introduced last season. According to Twitter anyways- any guesses as to who it may be?

Yeah, maybe fake Sherlock or that brazen shop girl. I forget her name. This was also posted on Twitter. Thomas and Margaret dressed for a wedding?!

Sherlock, I think, even though he wasn't a favorite of mine. Didn't really like that episode. Is that T/M picture from recently? hannikan
