mmmm I hope so but, despite the interview I'm starting to have mixed feelings about the ending, I particularly do not like his wording in that preview... Spoiler alert for all who do not wish to be even preview spoiled!! Why would he only have a few months of happiness with her? I realize that there would be reasons for his choice of words but.. it is an odd thing for him to say if he wants to propose isn't it? They've been friends for years, why would he now suddenly have a limit on his time with her? I have the horrid gut feeling that they are going to leave us hanging again  Perhaps Julia's father wasn't murdered - perhaps the injection relates to some inheritable disease? William has already watched one fiance suffer a painful death. However, I'm going with the glass half full gang, since Helene Joy said shippers would be happy. I think William just meant that he doesn't want to waste time and regret it later. Also, as long as they are being renewed season by season, I think MM will always leave people with some sort of wrap-up suring the last episode instead of a cliff-hanger. I hope you are right Snacky. I too was bothered when W said that to Julia I the preview. Maybe it is a snippet of conversation that can be interpreted differently out of context. I would not be surprised if they recorded two endings like they did for season 4. Hoping CBC makes an announcement soon for season 8. The suspense is killing me |

The suspense is killing me It would be astounding if they didn't renew it. I've been working so hard to raise awareness of MM amongst the Steampunk community in the US, too. T_T In the Blast of Silence thread, I also speculated that William really was going to propose when he called Julia for something "important", but he got hijacked by the circumstances. Now Julia is trying to take the wheel, and he's trying to figure out how to wrest it back. |

I too thought the same as murdochic. Those editors are pretty sneaky. It could go either way, but the still shot for the final episode seems to happen a second or two after the trailer ends. J/W are clearly holding each other and smiling. I can't wait.

I wasn't sure whether to believe it but the facial reconstruction seemed to confirm things. I hope he is dead because it was getting a bit ridiculous how often he could escape jail to torment them. |

1. Margaret is too great. I'm pretty sure she blames men for everything. 2. I don't feel bad for Emily at over Leslie  She had it comin' 3. When the Inspector walks in to the hotel room I always crack up at his "Bloody Hell" a bit. It's as if he saw the gun and thought William had snapped LOL. 4. The Brackenreids have had more implied sexy times than William & Julia. 5. Well, hopefully their facial reconstruction was correct and Gillies doesn't have a brother that looks just like him that is now dead |

MM had already shown that they knew how to do "old married couple romance" with the Brackenreids, which is why it was all the more puzzling when W&J just became roomies with little to no romance, and a seeming angst angle that went nowhere! Still, I'm happy to say that season 9 looks great so far! 5.) God, I hope not. Just let Gillies be dead already, please?  |
