We do get pharmaceutical adverts here but I'm pretty sure they're only on US networks. I don't see that many so I suspect that if I'm watching an American show on a Canadian network feed the ads are substituted.
We certainly have high paid, superstar professionals here but they don't get the wild press yours do. They are superstars amongst their professional peers, not usually the general population.

Hmm, even if they are on US networks, I wonder if it's actually legal that they are running in Canada. >.> Americans are all hype, but Canada delivers. I heard a Canadian doctor speak about the differences in outcomes between the Canadian and US healthcare system, and she kicked ass. (And made some Congressmen look like idiots).

Ya, that was huge news. A lot of Canadians, like me, are mystified at the hate-on for Obamacare. I get that it isn't perfect. Neither is our system, but should you lose your house to pay the medical bills if you have a heart attack? At this point, the short answer is: we don't and a lot of you do.

For reasons I don't want to share online, I was one of the first, and a major, beneficiary of Obamacare, in a way that ultimately saved taxpayers a lot of money. So when politicians of any stripe start nattering on about defunding Obamacare, I can only scoff at their utter failure to see beyond their own noses.

I am so glad you are an Obamacare success story . The movement needs information that hits home, not just politicized sound bites, but the irony is that your medical story is solely your business. It shouldn't have to get personal for the massive upside of the plan to get through thick skulls.

Like my stealth campaign to promote MM, I'm busying myself with a plot to educate the masses and I have time on my hands right now.
