Oooh, wouldn't it be great if Tess had joined the Pinkertons and had been working with Jimmy, the tracker? I would love to see both of them again.

The Pinkertons were a private agency - they could hire anyone. She could work under cover! On the down side, the Pinkertons had a very bad reputation by that time because they had been used for violent strikebreaking operations in the U.S.

But these would be the Canadian Pinkertons eh? Point taken, and, according to hallowed cliche, Canadians are nicer.

I can see that working into a storyline or two, or a romance for George. As I recall, Tess was quite enthralled by George.

I've always been impressed by the amount of characters the MM has brought back so far. But of course there are always those characters that I would still love to see more of. Tess is definitely one of those. And I love the idea of bringing Jimmy and Tess back in the same episode...although I think Tess wanted to start her own private agency, so it might be nice to see her succeeding at that rather than working for someone else (Pinkerton or otherwise).

Wouldn't it be a pity if Tess were now dating Jimmy (now that George let her get away). I love Red Emma, but I don't know who to fix her up with.

Aw, that would sad...at least for George. I'm assuming that Red Emma is someone I haven't met yet? She's Emma Goldman in War on Terror. I almost took a summer job working at an archive of her writings once. Seeing her played on TV completely changed how I see her, and really a lot about the history of that time period. btw, started watching the Klondike ep to remind myself of the George/Henry rift. My oh my, doesn't George look sharp in his detective get up? XD May have to start a rival Cult of the Bowler.

Oh, gotcha! Red Emma definitely makes sense! Haha, she needs to end up with Terrence Meyers somehow! And yes, I LOVE George in his detective outfit! So cute! And I love that his suit is that nice shade of gray...not the mundane black that everyone seems so into

But give who they both are, it would probably be a brief summer of love, and then they are both back to their respective sides of the ideological wall. They would look good together, though. Maybe they would cooperate for a sting? Regarding George, he didn't get to wear that suit enough around Emily.

I have always thought Julia was 3-4 years older than William. She looks older than him. She didn’t seem too pleased to see Ruby when we first met her in Houdini and Ruby commented on it but they do get along reasonably well. I just put that down to sisterly resentment but Julia mentioned it again when her father died that he actually preferred Ruby to her. OMG, BURN! Especially since Helene Joy is so up on skin care. She would be mortified. Regarding Ruby: as an older sister, I totally get it. The younger ones get coddled, and their sense of entitlement can get super annoying later on in life. XD I hope you are not swearing at me, Snacky. There’s no need for that. I am not talking about Helene Joy but Julia. There is a distinction between the person and the character. I am always very surprised at how different and young Helene looks in real life compared to the Julia character she plays in MM. Perhaps it’s the way she dresses or the level of experience she has or her colleagues from the medical field but whatever it is, I think it is deliberate on the part of MM to tell us something without actually saying anything. She looks much older than Emily who I think is about the same age as Ruby. MM is quite good at making up a character even when the person is portraying a younger or older character. I still think Julia is older though. I don't know why but I do. As for the sisterly resentment, I didn’t think anything of it until Julia’s comment in her moment of grief when she let her guard down and spilled her gut feelings. I began to think that she really did feel that way. However, I’m not concerned about it based on what I’ve seen so far. The sisters do care for eachother and they seem to get along well with eachother. Lovemondays described Ruby quite well and someone like that would be hard to ignore whether you love them or hate them.
