He just ended Season 4, and I'm currently about four episodes into Season 5. And yes, he knows about my thing for George I think the Inspector may be his favorite character though. I love the Inspector. He is "my best man".

Tess is a much better choice for George Erm..... It seems I’m always on the opposite side of things here. I am certainly in the minority, lol. Anyway, I don’t think Tess is suitable for George. Don’t get me wrong, I like Tess but she is too hyper for him. I love George, he is a cuddly soul and I don’t want to see him get hurt. With the way they both are, they won’t hear eachother speak. No one will get a word in edgeways. I’m afraid I’m with Brackenreid on this one when he says Tess is a “bloody nuisance”. Tess may be a better choice than Emily but neither one is suitable for him, in my opinion. I liked Edna Garrison best with George (Power – the first episode in season 1). He still has the dog, they should have let him keep the girl too.

I hope you are not swearing at me, Snacky. I am always very surprised at how different and young Helene looks in real life compared to the Julia character she plays in MM. As for the sisterly resentment, I didn’t think anything of it until Julia’s comment in her moment of grief when she let her guard down and spilled her gut feelings. lol, a "burn" is like a zinger. I meant you burned Helene Joy about her age even if you were talking about Julia. XD But I agree with you, Helene does somehow look younger than Julia - dang those camera folk! Or perhaps she's doing it on purpose because the character is supposed to be old maidish? This is also something British and Canadian TV does much better than the U.S.: here people never age past 30 on TV. I'm very curious as to why Julia thinks their father liked Ruby better. How was Ruby different? She's obviously independent and stubborn just like Julia. The only difference is she didn't go into the meddial profession.

Poor Edna, we hardly knew ye. She seemed like a sweet girl, but I feel like her personality wasn't explored enough to decide if she would be a good match. But I adore Violet, and I'm so happy that George got to keep her! ziggy, I see your point in that Tess might have been a little overwhelming, but I felt like she and George got along better and better as the episode progressed. If she had stuck around, I felt like they could have made a go of it.

George: yes because he's kind and caring. Brackenreid: not so much. XD

I like Edna but we didn't get to see enough of her. George's love interest has to fit in logically with his work in order to give her enough believable screen time. Besides, I hate to say it, but I worry that any children of George and Edna might end up looking like mole people .

Tess had interests. I thought if she joined the Pinkertons or started her own agency, she and George could have adventures together, and George could write about them.

Bringing in Tess and the Pinkertons would really work. Brackenreid would be hilarious because Tess annoys him so.

Ha! Not so sure about that. He nearly blows a gasket when George comes up with his hairbrained ideas...and that's when he LIKES the guy. George and Tess together would have him drinking so much that Harriet would have to get back in with that bloody temperance lot.

Good thing Margaret is the perfect match for the Inspector My prediction for Margaret is she gets restless as the "boys leave the nest" and gets a job. And then she gets on the "Women's Right to Vote" bandwagon. Watch out, Inspector!
