Lovemondays and I went downtown in August and took photos of several locations named in the show. They are featured in this thread. Snacky would like us to post a map of Toronto, really it could only be a map of the southeast part of downtown, and draw the route we walked. I think I could find a map of that part of Toronto, but as far as drawing our route on the computer and then posting it to this board: well let's just say that I find that daunting. If you know how to do this please let me know. Maybe it is not as complicated as I think it would be, but I have never seen anything like this done. My husband and kids haven't either.

We used to do a walking tour of downtown TO for Forever Knight however we just knew where everywhere was and lead a group. I don't think they've thought this through, though you may be able to do it in google maps if you can put every address in to the directions then have it map it.

Ok I will try that tomorrow. I am on the iPad now and should go to bed soon. (But I am having too much fun reading the recent stuff!)

Ok sorry to say this but pins and screenshots? Are these Google maps tools? Pins are tools in Google maps - that might be a bit above your technical level at the minute. Screenshots just means taking a picture of what is on the screen. Hit the Print Screen button (in the upper right portion of your keyboard) and you've taken a screen short. But then you have to paste (ctrl+v) the image somewhere. You can do this in Word if you want. It's better to do this in a program made for handling images. Did you say you have photoshop? If not, you certainly have Microsoft Paint on your computer. I'm not sure which version of Windows you have. In older versions, Paint is in your Accessories folder. You can also just go into the files area and search for paint.exe. As soon as you find it, you can copy a shortcut to your desktop - right click for your menu options to copy then paste the shortcut. Anyway, if you can find Paint, just launch it, open a new image and ctrl+v. The screenshot you took with Print Screen will magically appear!

I tried Google Maps but it would only let me do two addresses at a time! Any suggestions?

Not sure if it would even work on Windows these day but Streets and Trips would let you put in any number of locations and work out the best route between them. That's if anyone has a copy, I assume it's no longer available.

You guys are the geniuses. I just have my resources, lol. I don't know how to use a cellphone. And I don't have a wriggly black pug puppy.
