Maybe Julia's getting married in that! It's possible. There might be a fancy wedding planned, which I suspect will get interrupted somehow-given how they're always interrupted. The real wedding may just feature William and Julia running off to be married without a chance of interruption and coming back with smug, satisfied grins on their faces. William especially will be wearing a big, wide grin. It'll be obvious to everyone what he's just returned from doing. Just a guess, though.

But I wonder what might go wrong. No hint as to Catholic/Protestant angst. No sign that William and Julia were responsible for the Allen Gardens greenhouse burning down. There might be a get-away on horses involved though...

I wonder if the new curvier look is deliberate. I think it's a softer Julia. Plus, she's a little bit older, and more comfortable in her skin. She's not having to dress conservatively or decidedly unfeminine to fit into into a man's world, and she's not the arm candy for a wealthy doctor anymore, so no more prim and prissy. She's a well-loved woman, and finally able to be comfortable in her own skin. Plus, I think this is an evening dress, which might explain some it's heaviness. Still, I hope her other dresses follow this style as well. We've already seen Gibson Girl Emily, and while maybe a bit young for Julia, hopefully something similar. All I can say is the costume designers have stepped up in a big way. I think this is a gorgeous gown.

I've been busy for the last few days, and I missed where Yannick promised us some ouchie angst on Twitter: Attachment DeletedHaha, I'd prefer he'd not hurt himself to deliver the goods, though. This bus ad was also on the Twitter feed: They are kind of pushing this "something to hide" tagline, aren't they? Maybe William really does have something to hide!

I'm slightly nervous as to what William's secret is, but in the end, I suspect it's just that his past isn't as squeaky clean as his present.

I get the feeling when he let go of Cat Lady, he was trying to absolve himself of a larger, related guilt. Perhaps his zeal to report his boss for "extracting a confession" related to his failure to report an earlier "extraction" that led to the punishment of the wrong person.

I don't want a work-related secret (we already know that from 4x13). I want a salacious, personal secret!

A salacious personal secret might get William in trouble with Julia.

View AttachmentHaha, I'd prefer he'd not hurt himself to deliver the goods, though. Luckily William is about to marry a doctor. Julia will take care of him, heal his wounds and kiss him where it hurts... but not without scolding him before! ;-)

This bus ad was also on the Twitter feed: They are kind of pushing this "something to hide" tagline, aren't they? Maybe William really does have something to hide! Yes, he does: he is a virgin! LOL. Or maybe William will finally say to George: "George, I am your father". More seriously, if he really has a secret, I don't have any idea but I hope it will not too much big just to make us think that the great detective William MURDOCH is finally just a man/human being like others with his strengths and weaknesses. Indeed I like to think William is very special and even a little bit strange/odd. And according to me, it's precisely for this reason that his character is so endearing.

I didn't catch anything spoilery, but it was hard to hear them. Thanks for posting this! Interesting to see the actors at work. A view of the shop -some say even bridal shop- from the outside and from the inside: ow.ly/i/6Y5QiLadies, William will finally learn something about women in this case, something that George already knows for once thanks to his many aunts: woman can kill another woman just for the last available fashionable blouse during the sales periods. The murder weapon: a corset. Of course, William need to make a little experiment and so he will need the help of Julia... just in the name of science.

Naw, I don't want any wedding-stopping angst. If the wedding is delayed, I just want it to be because the events involved are naturally extended over the season - not because of fake obstacles. No last minute babies, lol!

William is suffering enough as it is!
