They're going to make us wait through multiple nightmare scenarios before the real wedding during the last 5 minutes. I'm working the theory that each nightmare dress gets better until the beautiful real one at the end. I can't find it now, but I'm not imagining a discussion we had about multiple wedding scenarios, right? Wasn't there an article about it somewhere? I think it may have been pics from season 8, but I can't find the thread now. I think the original idea came from posts on FB after MM posted a pic of another woman in a wedding dress at a church somewhere in Toronto. |

I think it may have been pics from season 8, but I can't find the thread now. Bill Brioux suggested on twitter that one Church scene was a dream sequence. Also filming the wedding(s) occured in multiple places - I believe Toronto and Hamilton...? Anyway there was some evidence for multiple wedding scenes besides Brioux's remark. There was minute analysis of the pics from the various places on both Twitter and Tumblr and attempts by Maureen Jennings and others to troll fans. Plus there's that whiteboard list of all the ways to ruin the wedding. All those things together led to discussion here of wedding dream/nightnmare sequences. |

There was a lot of quack medicine at the time. I wonder what the equivalent of viagra was? And I wonder who is more worried: William or Julia? I think William. I think she suspects something may be up, but she's got some contingencies planned.  After having dragged out details from George about what had happened during his bachelor party, Julia learned of the belly dancer Anadia, and contacted her. After having a few short lessons, and quickly having a harem costume of her own made, Julia had a wedding night surprise that he would never suspect. ROFLMAO! But Julia's backup plan involved adding a little something to William's tea. Or having Vin Mariani with dinner. (That's wine with cocaine). |

Okay, it's hard to tell costume changes for William (it's usually one dark suit and tie for another dark suit and tie), but he indeed had one between the church scene and his bachelor party. He's wearing a dark blue tie in the church, and dark maroon one at the party. So, time has passed where some wedding details were discussed. I don't remember where on this thread, but it was discussed. Just FYI.  |

During the second encounter, in the organ loft of all places, Julia did express an anger towards God for allowing abuse and mental illness and the priest called her on it. To me that is opinion, not fear and suspicion. Am I missing something? Nope I think we're just looking at that scene where Julia "expresses her anger" in different ways. I think she feared the affect that belief had on William - but as you say, the priest called her on it. Fair enough. I'm just glad Julia is making a significant effort to make William happy. He's earned it. |

I knew the actor who played the priest looked familiar! He was in Shades of Grey as well! He was the boss who took advantage of his employees! That William manhandled at the end!  I think like all Canadians actors have been on this show at least twice.  |

I knew the actor who played the priest looked familiar! I think like all Canadians actors have been on this show at least twice. Dang - is that why he looked familiar? I thought he had played William's priest before. I think MM does a lot of recycling. I spotted one while watching Season 3 with eclair- forgot who it was now. |
