She probably would have cut open William if he was in her morgue and that drove her need to find out what happened to him. But perhaps another part of her wanted to avoid that circumstance...? Now that William is getting all "jungle justice" it could be even worse... In the Peter Mitchell interview I listened to yesterday he said Freud never visited Canada and therefore wouldn't be in the show. They only have characters that were in Canada around the time period in the season. Freud's "Interpretation of Dreams" was published in 1899. Julia went to Vienna during the first part of 1900. She probably has a copy of the book on her nightstand. She may or may not have been analyzed by Freud but you can bet your boots that some study of her psyche happened. I think it might be very interesting if Julia were to have dreams triggered by some of William's cases that could be used to explore her issues. There's also the infertility issue that can do one heck of a number on one's head space. Talbotrail said in an earlier post that she felt recent developments in Julia's character have felt rushed. I agree. Once the wedding is over there will be lots of time.

This is what happens when they make us wait 2 weeks for the wedding. Image isn't mine. Helene retweeted it. It almost looks like he's looking at her ass.

I agree. Once the wedding is over there will be lots of time. If she wasn't analyzed by Freud, then she definitely got her head shrunk by one of his associated (Jung, perhaps). Who knows? Maybe we will (hopefully) see her deal with some of her other issue-and since nothing has been smooth sailing between those two, I expect there to be some marital discord-on both their parts.

I know this picture is a fake (not just because it's ridiculously awesome), but also because we all know William doesn't know how to do laundry. That's what Mrs. Kitchen was for! And how much do you want to bet that he'll still be taking his laundry over there, because Julia certainly isn't going to do it.

I'd prefer Jung!!! But he's too young and in Zurich. Maybe he can correspond with Julia as a fellow student, since he's so interested in powerful animas...

But Rutherford did teach in Canada, and Julia attended a lecture on the Michelson-Morley experiment, so there is no reason MM can't have episodes that touch on the revolutions in physics of the era. Personally, I think the most interesting had spiritual ramifications - light spectrums that revealed an invisible world, communication over "waves", etc.

If that's what William looks like during laundry, she's not going to be reading a magazine while he works. But but seriously, though it is a nice pic, it always cracks me up, as though they're deliberately going for the married women demographic with that photo.

Total chibi heads. I don't think William is giving Julia the perv look, though - he seems to be staring at her fondly, as if he's her love slave while he's doing the laundry! I'd like a closer look at the magazine Julia is reading - it looks very Feminist! Note on the painting on the wall none of the bathing women are wearing stockings. How scandalous! Anyway, it makes me really happy that MM peeps are finally starting to recognize other forms of fan art. I presume this is fan art? Did it get proper cred?

If women became equal they'd enslave all men to do their 'dirty' work!

I'm glad to see her long track record of support for MM getting some recognition!
