Wonder if our good pal Tesla makes a return appearance? I believe someone brought up seeing Edison in the cast photos already. That might imply Tesla since their rivalry (and Tesla's destruction at Edison/Westinghouse/etc hands) is pretty much infamous. Hey, didn't Tesla rent a whole floor of an apartment building in New York? |

I think this is the episode with Edison in it and I hope to see Tesla too. I love the episodes with Tesla. More importantly, I hope they write the script well for both men. They didn’t quite do justice to Edison in the episode he featured in season 7.
I wonder what the plot is for this episode. Like I said in the 1902 thread, perhaps something to do with transatlantic radio press reports or transmissions. The first one occurred about that time and it would be a great opportunity to include Marconi. If this happens, I am sure Meyers will be there to throw his weight around as usual and annoy everybody.

That was the weirdest preview I think CBC has done, just saying. I hope they give us a better idea of what actually is going on later in the week.

Emily's got her mad scientist face on! Tanya Lemke indicated in a tweet it would be "hysterical". I was a bit worried about that - we've had a lot of funny already when we were prepped to expect a "10% darker season" and a return to mystery bsns after the wedding shipper apotheosis/rapture. I thought Whar Lies Buried was the big swerve into dark territory. I guess not...? |

I've noticed that with a lot of shows they always have a lighter episode precede a dark episode like "What Lies Buried" This is especially prevalent in crime shows, like Murdoch Mysteries and Castle. I'm just going to take the episodes as they come. TBH I'm just glad we're back to normal so to speak. |

Had to prevent that pesky womb from roaming around the body, you know. But I think electric chair for executions is a better guess. It was supposed to be more humane, you know.  And, it's very period appropriate! |
