into the wild. i looked at it briefly today and cringed when i spotted an okay....i don't think i realized that wasn't okay until many stories in. lol at your anachronism learning curve. Do you go back and fix that sort of thing? i would have if the file was still uploaded but it isn't (they automatically get deleted after 90 days)

into the wild. i looked at it briefly today and cringed when i spotted an okay....i don't think i realized that wasn't okay until many stories in. Actually, I'm not so sure that it isn't "okay". It was in use in America by the mid-1800's, and I think it quite likely that it had made the short journey north by the late 1800's or the era of MM. So actually, I think you're "okay". www.oxforddictionaries.com/words/what-is-the-origin-of-the-word-okHmm, that seems to be different than anything I've seen before...I've gotten so used to not using it that it doesn't sound right anymore (in an MM context). I don't believe they've ever used it in the show and any time one of the actors (jonny) messed up, they had to re-shoot.

Yeah, but it was dark, so she may not have actually seen it. Yeah, I noticed a typo too, but I don't know how to fix it without deleting it. Okay it's pretty simple to fix. Just go to publish -->doc manager, click on your story, make the correction. SAVE. Then go to manage stories --> content/chapters --> replace/update chapter, select the applicable file, press replace and viola you are done. If you want to make sure it has worked, click on preview. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is. But then again I've done it more times than I can remember. Thank you very much-that was bugging me, but I wasn't sure how to fix it. It's done now!

they automatically get deleted after 90 days I don't think it's the fics that get deleted, but the .doc files that one uploads to the server. Anyway, that's how I understand it. CC can correct me if I'm wrong.

So, I was just looking at the stats for my story, and there are some interesting facts to be found.
The most represented country is the US-which surprises me with 21 different visitors.
There are four unique visitors from Japan-I know I'm one, but really? Where y'at 3 fellow MM fans in Japanland? どこですか、二本の MM ファンズ?
Two visitors from China, and one from the Philippines? Come on fellow Asia MM fans-Holla!
Okay, I just thought that that was some interesting information to share. No big surprise that the other views were from Canada and Europe.

According to Wikipedia, MM airs in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand(!) - but I don't see Japan: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murdoch_Mysteries#BroadcastMaybe you have a personal cult following!!!

My most visited countries are always one of the big four, Canada, UK, France or US...however, I find the pervy ones attract far more French people. So you're stats are kinda odd to me. But it's sorta cool knowing that people from the other side of the world are reading my silly fics!

Well if I know the PH one and she's attracted some notice since she's mentioned being from Japan before, I think that accounts for a couple. Do the Chinese ones distinguish Hong Kong? MM is actually distributed there, and that's where the person with the Tumblr who gave CC the idea about the "Journey to the Center of Toronto" alternate pronz reading is from. With those three factors in hand, the stats would make sense.

But it's sorta cool knowing that people from the other side of the world are reading my silly fics! I love interacting with people from Asia for this reason. They have no idea how cool it is for me! I don't think it is the same for them at all - at least not online.
