Maybe William and Julia will finally get a chance to settle the score with Garland. He's an ass, but none too bright-he'll screw up somewhere. Hopefully soon! It still seems like it should be easy to get him tossed off any court case for conflict of interest. It should, in fact, be easy to get him disbarred just by bringing evidence of all the shenanigans he's been up to. One would think... Hopefully the little pissant spoiled brat won't be around long.

Also, would there be a statute of limitations on threatening a police officer? Maybe they could just charge him like William wanted in the first place.

Julia is so full of authority. What an awesome woman of action. Good thing William knows when to get out of the way!

The preview makes it seem like he's switched or expanded his vendetta from Julia to Emily. Maybe they can use the conflict of interest argument to get him off Julia's case, but not off Emily's...?

Yes that was fast - almost Gillies-like annoying pop-up enemy. At least he isn't full of nonsense crazy, though. I hate that kind of villain. I like the evil geniuses to make sense and be worthy adversaries. Actually my spidey senses are tingling here: could this be a strategy to build sympathy/character for Emily?

I'm kinda wondering if Julia shuts him down here-proving him impotent (heh) and making him angrier and attempting to crash the wedding coming up soon. He's dangerous in that his temper will get the better of him, but yeah, he's no evil genius. He's going to do something stupid soon.

Maybe he gets fired from the CP and becomes an ambulance chaser? Which would just make him angrier and more dangerous - and possibly drive him crazy until he becomes another Gillies.

I think they are kept in custody or provisional detention during the process of trial. Julia and Emily surely could afford to make bail but they would prefer to show solidarity with other women. About the public protest, I think that the Prime Minister indeed could be a forward thinker -not like the member of provincial parliament who ripped up the petition- and he could grant his pardon to all the women who have been arrested and threw in jail. Lesley GARLAND will have no other choice than to bow down. It could be a little victory for women.

I look forward to seeing Leslie Garland being made to look like an unchivalrous fool. But of course being made to look unchivalrous gets in the way of the argument for women's rights as fully rational citizens, as William pointed out in Victor/Victorian - so we may see the women themselves refusing any special treatment. Looking forward to some William angst, too! Woo hoo! sorry not sorry, lovemondays!
