This makes me wonder who they will get to represent the Nazis. Can't have Indy without Nazis... Stockton obviously. Hate to say it, but Ford was seriously into the Zionist Conspiracy and later had the Protocols of the Elders of Zion printed up and distributed to his wealthy friends - something that fueled antisemitism throughout Europe and planted seeds for Nazi ideology. Edison is occasionally trotted out as an antisemite as well. Anyway you can easily get a proto "Nazi" movement by combining the eugenics folk with the early "Zionist Conspiracy" folk. Who knows - Ford might be the "Grand Master" of the Temple of Death!!! So much for William's secret crush!

I found some more materials on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion just so everyone gets what a big influence this little "conspiracy theory" was (and still is) on world history: Short intro (including Henry Ford's role): www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1797/whats-the-story-with-the-protocols-of-the-elders-of-zionWeb site dedicated to the Protocols with many resources: ddickerson.igc.org/protocols.htmlWhile Henry Ford had not yet published them yet, the Protocols were already floating around in Russia in the early 1900s (where Jewish purges called "pogroms" were taking place). The Protocols may have originated in Germany (there is a similar scene in a German novel) where Jews were scapegoated during German unification during the late 19th century. My American History is really sketchy, but I'd guess that Ford's chief concern was unionism, and possibly its convergence with political movements such as International communism and anarchism. The union's belligerence against the wealthy classes started to look conspiratorial, and as Ford started to look around for conspiracies, he found the vast Zionist Conspiracy to Overthrow the World Order. And blah, blah, blah... Taking this back a step, we also still have the Freemasons and the Illuminati who are supposed to be subverting the corrupt old aristocracy in favor of Democracy and Good Business, but that could get a Eugenicist taint as well if someone believes the New Man should be a more perfect Man... I doubt George would stand very long for this sort of thinking, though.

This sounds like a good episode for our South American travel Ruby to appear in! I supposed it depends on the state of her movie career.

I think MM would probably play around with the gender roles a bit. Julia would get to wear pants and a leather jacket (liberated from her corset!). I bet George gets to be the "maiden in distress". Emily will probably be the rescuer. William will get to solve a lot of puzzles, with help from Julia: snuggling will ensue. Haha fic please? Even if it was just a dream it'd be pretty hilarious! Hopefully that Mason guy from S3 will be in this too and he'll look at Julia and be like, "Still a cheeky thing I see." And Murdo will be all like, "That she is. But she's MY cheeky thing now, so eyes off bub or I'll push you into this hole with spikes at the bottom!" Don't forget ...and she's No Thing (nothing) to you at all.

Well Ford's nuttiness is a matter of historical fact. I hope MM brings that up instead of leaving him as an "Inventor Hero" along the lines of Edison. Plus it's another chance for Canada to throw a little elbow at America, hahaha.

You're overthinking this! I'm pretty sure we were being utterly ridiculous. I'm always utterly ridiculous...except for when I'm not. Didn't know that about Ford. Filthy Bastard! Even if Ford weren't partly responsible for Nazi ideology, he also had other insidious influences on American culture that we are struggling with today. "Fordism" is synonymous with time-motion studies in the workplace: extracting maximum amount of labor per minute. The Ford factory is also the quintessential "assembly line" factory which has had vast influence on culture as well as business. Ford was famous for offering high worker salaries and other benefits, but he strongly opposed unions. He basically hired gangsters to enforce this, and this led to a famous violent shootouts in the 1930s. These days you see a lot of young turks (haha - the actual young turks are from William's era!) in Silicon Valley claiming that "innovators" don't need to go to college. I'm wondering if the case of Ford shows one of the reasons why people should be encouraged to go to college before they are set upon the world as innovators and businessmen. That way when they are rich and have the power to impose their opinions on the rest of us, they have some kind of foundation in the humanities and critical thinking about moral issues...then they might be more likely to do the right things with their money.

Yeah, Ford was definitely cray. He's actually a pretty interesting character, I mean come on, when your anti-semitism inspires Hitler...

Julia eats one too many Christmas pastries and becomes (literally) a human boulder. She chases/rolls after Murdoch in their newly built house a.k.a. "Temple of Death".
Summary as per office gossip.

Even if we've already seen the episodes can you do your own "summaries" for the previous ones? If not than what is your take on the episode titles that we will see in 2015
