It's also possible Yannick just forgot to take his own rings off for a scene... But it makes no sense because now he doesn't have to. I'm wondering if Brackenreid's really pointed comment about the ring means we're going to get a Ring Conversation...

I just became grateful: I won't be around Monday or Tuesday, LOL! There's coverage of municipal elections? That's dedication, there! At least where I'm from, municipal electoral coverage is nonexistent, and I'm having difficulty remembering if we have coverage in the mid-terms? I'm thinking it's only presidential elections that get uninterrupted coverage. 2nd Tuesday in November-one of you Americans will have to tell me if we cover midterms? We have local coverage of all elections. The big one this time is who is going to replace Rob Ford as mayor of Toronto? His brother Doug is currently a reasonably close 2nd in the polls. God help Toronto...

I would love a ring conversation, and a house conversation and a housekeeper conversation! Except that they all have to happen before the wedding! Now, if those kind of interesting tete a tetes would replace some of the nightmare wedding scenarios I would be ecstatic!

Municipal elections aren't as important as MM! Perhaps if it had been provincial or federal.... I just became grateful: I won't be around Monday or Tuesday, LOL! Because of the elections MM is rerunning either The Death of Dr. Ogden or Unfinished Business, depending on the area. The wedding ep airs on Nov 3rd. I hope you're around then...so much squee to revel in!!! .

PLEASE do not hold back discussion on my account, though! Usually I'm able to get the episode Monday night or Tuesday morningish. But I have a feeling for this episode every source will be late. Same here-please don't hold back on the discussion (once we acutally get there haha) I'm going to need to be spoiled to survive, the hours until I get a hold of it.

Right before someone spooks the horses and the carriage goes over a cliff? A carriage accident will happen. ow.ly/i/5MpqR/originalBut fortunately it's not their wedding carriage! Oooooh! How many times have I used the word "wedding"? Wait, isn't that the tipped wagon the guys hide behind in Glory Days?

I was under the impression the Redas were a couple who have been working with MM from the beginning. Some of the characters in Murdoch in Wonderland are named after them. I agree they have erred on the side of the "dowdy" - but I guess that's why they won points for "historical accuracy".

Hope she hasn't put her house on the market yet!

I agree they have erred on the side of the "dowdy" - but I guess that's why they won points for "historical accuracy". There was a video about the costuming done some time back by MM, where Alexander Reda discussed the characters and their outfits. It's an interesting one, showing how closely the costumes are matched to the characters. It was mentioned that people didn't have closets full of clothes like folks do now and it would be normal in those days, for some like Julia, to wear the same outfits often and to keep them for sometime. I always thought Julia has a ton of clothes for that day and age, but I chalked it up to her wealth and for the need of the fans to have eye candy! By the way, was I right about the Redas being a couple working on MM?

I had a thought today. The trailer for this episode has Julia walking into Murdoch's office and saying ".....I daresay I should marry you more often......." That may be a bit of a play on words given it looks like we'll see Julia and William marrying more than once by way of dream sequences. Wouldn't surprise me if the actual W/J wedding (if there is one) was filmed under pretty close wraps. What I do hope is that when the episode ends we, at least, know whether or not they actually DID marry. I'll go crazy if next week's mystery turned to be a "did they or didn't they?" Was it real or was it a dream?

Was it real or was it a dream? lol - wedding groundhog day! I was thinking the same, but from William's point of view, after Julia "cursed" the wedding by seeing him in his suit beforehand! The sneak preview showed him doing that hand thing trying to work out the ramifications. I don't think there will be any question whether they married by the end of the episode. They will be doing their honeymoon in New York next week! (Should have gone to Japan! )
