In CrabtreeMania hoards of squeeing fangirls chase George offscreen in one direction. In The Murdoch Appreciation Society, the SAME hoard of squeeing fangirls chase William onscreen in the other direction. Meanwhile the Fab Four are lounging about at an outdoor cafe and laughing their bustles off! The sounds I am making are not human. Through the discovery of a conveniently placed Tardis randomkiwibirds gets to join said ladies at the cafe to appreciate the view.

"Murdoch's admirers interfere with a murder investigation; Ogden thinks about running for office." From our TV program guide. Ooh - while I was collecting the pics of women wearing the pants, I saw there was a woman that ran for President of the U.S. before women had the vote. It's possibe! btw, she was one wearing the pants!

During the summer MM did post a pic of Julia sitting in what looked to be the President's office with her feet up on the desk. Possibly they were invited there as a thank you for Murdoch saving Teddy's life. Hopefully she would try to run for Toronto mayor before she sets her sites on the White House! Besides there's that pesky rule about having to have been born in the U.S. Anyway, the blurb just says she's thinking about it. It seems that marriage to William isn't going to put a lid on her energy.

This title does sound pretty "lite", but it's followed by "What Lies Buried". I wasn't able to get the writer/director from IMDB. Remember how there was one episode where there was a woman who followed all Detective Murdoch's cases in the newspaper? It could be a group of people like that who actually interfere on the scene of the case...perhaps they nitpick and get underfoot and try to take over...? lol? Perhaps one tries to take his tie as souvenir!!!!

Does anyone else think Murdoch's fan from Crime and Punishment will be part of this society?

Does anyone else think Murdoch's fan from Crime and Punishment will be part of this society? Quite a few of us do, actually. I wouldn't be surprised.

I think you mean Murdoch in Toyland...but yeah, I'll be annoyed if she doesn't make another appearance. It'll be funny to see how he deals with girls fawning over him now that he's married. Julia would probably just laugh at him but if one of them got near the tie she would become Action!Julia.

As for how he'll handle it, he'll probably be even more awkward than he has been when women throw themselves at him. Julia will just laugh and tease him-he'll be mortified. Or at least that's what I hope...squirmy!William is awesome!

Perhaps one tries to take his tie as souvenir!!!! There was a trailer for TMAS last night and it does indeed seem like it has Miss Rosevear type fangirls who get in the way of the investigation. I notice the CBC isn't using trailers as place markers for the next episode on their website this season, too bad, I'd like to be able to see them anytime rather than just on the odd occasion I'm watching the CBC.
