And I loled at the size of the 'hidden' package in Lillian's coat. How the heck did that even fit without being folded over? I thought the same thing but on second viewing there was a huge inside pocket. Perhaps Lillian didn't give the coat back to the thief in TGP after all....

So then she didn't kill anyone? I'm getting confused now. The guy she helped finish off didn't die and then he went and killed the PI and then waited 4 months to go and kill Lillian? I'm confused too. Back for round 3. (Like I need an excuse. ) On fourth viewing, Lillian could very well have killed the PI. She was in the right place at the right time and really wanted to leave TO right after.

I'm confused too. Back for round 3. (Like I need an excuse. ) Glad I'm not the only one. I was a bit distracted by things during this episode...so I thought I had missed something. If Lillian didn't kill him, did she relax again because she just stopped seeing him around and she assumed he thought he had been mistaken in her identity and went to another city? But if the PI knew who she was, and the hubby killed him for the info, why did he wait 4 months to kill Lillian? He just didn't have her specific location? But how did the hubby find the PI if he wasn't also tailing Lillian? Did the constable tell him something? Now I'm really confused. I should probably just rewatch again...

I just have time to watch once tonight: working a lot.
I was pretty riveted by Georgina's performance, right from her walk on with her "fresh corpse" line to the good bye at the end. She stole the show tonight: good for her. I have to wonder if the writers knew from the beginning of Lillian's time on the show that this was her backstory? It would explain her abrasive personality.
I need to watch again to catch all the twist and turns of the mystery.

Did you guys saw the new "solve the case" on cbc murdoch? On the facebook page it made reference to the foot found by George. I'm pretty sure that's how you solve this mystery. Dr.Grace is my favourite character from the show and I'll miss her. I was very excited when I first saw the preview featuring her, but when I learned she will be leaving from the tweets earlier on... I froze for quite a while. I guess we will have the confirmation later on from the interview. Be sure to check tv-eh on midnight.

Cool beans!

OMG! I was right that there was a twist we wouldn't see coming, but wrong about what it would be. I enjoyed this episode-I'm glad I stayed home today to catch it! No kidding. I loved this ep and I never thought in a million years that I would have tears over these characters. The quality of acting tonight was absolutely SUPERB, especially Georgina. Yes it was a really really great episode! I absolutely loved it!

Could Gladys have killed the PI? Idk- only got to watch once.
Julia saying "What" when they said they needed a new coroner was my absolute favorite. Oh and not to mention William pointing out that there was still a foot in the boot. LOL. This episode was just really great throughout the whole thing!

After reading the interview (on tv-eh), I understand why she chose to leave, although it was a difficult choice, and I sincerely wish for her best. Hopefully she will pop up once in a while.
But my Dr.Grace-fan side is still shocked!!

Good catch-I didn't quite put the two together.

Well she did knock her husband upside the head and then got Lillian to help her drown him...so yeah, I'd say she's capable of murdering the PI in order to protect both herself and Lillian. That would explain why the hubby didn't go after Lillian for 4 months later. It took him that long to find them on his own. Well, he found Lillian first and only found Gladys because of Emily. Good detective work there! But uh, honestly, they really didn't need to kill Lillian off. The hubby could've tried and failed to assassinate her and the story would've played out the same way if Lillian refused to talk about her sordid past. But it would've been less dramatic and heartbreaking.

But, would it have been realistic to expect Emily to go off to London with someone who'd lied to her and kept her true identity a secret from her? Besides, Sara Mitich got a great death scene to do......
