Why is Brackenreid so grumpy about Christmas? He's been perfectly happy with it before and had a Christmas tree in the station house. I guess it doesn't really matter as this ep isn't canon.

From the CBC site, a summary of the Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids): www.cbc.ca/murdochmysteries/sickkidsThe original building on College, near where I work, is still there, as the headquarters for Canadian Blood Services.

First post here. Because I've just seen the christmas special. Want to have a few words about it ?
-quite funny -Julia at her best (doctor, coroner, psychiatre, funny, sexy, badass,...) -jilliam -inventor and action William, rational William's patience really tested -grumpy and 'loch Ness' Brakenreid, and more -a good portion of Jackson -some kinky part -A real investigation but not the best part of the episode, to say the least. You will guess the culprit fast, I believe.
-Julia and Brakenreid have the best part, IMO
A good episode, really liked it.

A few little tidbits to tease us but no spoilers.....well done. Looking forward to Julia tonight..woohoo! For me, it's ok about the mystery part of it being weak-ish. To be honest, if the butler didn't do it I am at a total loss watching the mystery part of any mystery show. Really looking forward to watching it.

This probably goes without saying but better safe than sorry.
In FB or Twitter, someone mentioned that if your PVR is set to automatically record MM each Monday it won't record the movie tonight. You have to set that separately.

I just finished watching it on Alibi. Even though it's not a real episode it all seems very in character and fits with the characters in S9. It's really cute, funny, everyone had plenty to do, adorable W/J, Julia being on form, and it will get you in the mood for Christmas.
Rebecca wasn't in it, but with it being shown in most countries before S9 then those viewers wouldn't have a clue who she was. Though it is a spoiler about Emily being gone and Julia being the coroner again.
