I was afraid this was going to be schmaltzy and it was great! I loved it......some of the best one liners ever in Murdoch...... I really enjoyed it! Lots of cameos, gotchas and one very quiet but significant invention. Watching round 2 now.

Now I'm wondering what else Julia will do to earn her rightful spot on the naughty list.

As I understand it, Santa or Kris Kringle is able to keep track of very naughty thoughts. Julia was planning that one for a while....

My niece made some yummy spiked eggnog for the occasion! A little tipsy between that and the wine from dinner.

I was afraid this was going to be schmaltzy and it was great! I loved it......some of the best one liners ever in Murdoch...... I was worried it was going to be corny or campy and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't. It felt just like a regular episode. I was surprised that an English character knew about Krampus as it's a Germanic fable. Even my (English) husband who lived in Germany as a kid wasn't familiar with the character. Loved Ed Asner's Kris Kringle! WELL DONE PETER!!

Less Edwardian? less formal? more animated? Just enjoyed the whole 2 hrs. and it seemed as though everyone enjoyed doing it.

I enjoyed the wee touches like the santa hat on the skeleton in the morgue, character called Robert Cratchet. Overall very good.

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to say I'm sorry for not jumping into these discussions sooner this half of the season. And being pretty much AWOL in general. I've moved house twice within the past three months so often times the first time I get a chance to watch an episode is when I watch with my mom the Tuesday evening. I'm hoping this will change in the new year and I get a chance to watch the episode earlier so I can get my thoughts up sooner, and of course get back and participating in discussions more. Anyway, I'll be watching later tonight for the first time again...ugh.
Anyway-until then Becca
