I didn't find this ep quite as engaging as the previous ones but loved Julia using her underhanded ways again. What can one say about the end? Love William when he's unsure or nervous of what Julia will think. When will he ever have time though?? Yes, lizmc, glad THAT wasn't brought up, I almost expected the room to be mentioned! One other thing, the cut of William's pants looked rather modern; the waist was somewhat low for the times don't you think? I think the pants may have been from the Gap......the back view was nice, though..... Just watching again, not complaining about the view!

I haven't seen the ep or the preview yet, but I'm just wondering- is the young Murdoch actor the same one they used in Shipwreck last season, or is it another kid? Same one.

I looked back at Shipwreck to see how old William was because that event obviously happened before this one. I felt like I was hearing Father Keegan's voice when William said "we have nothing to fear from the dead."
William was 12 in Shipwreck so that was Christmas Day 1873 and this is obviously the summer of 1875. I'm glad they cast the same young man again, John Paul Ruttan. (Apparently he also played young Theodore in Mild Wild West.)

This s gonna be good!
Loved Julia struggling to not be jealous of a woman from William's past...Freddie was only a girl at the time but I think Julia's issue was that William had never mentioned her. I'm taking this back. After rewatching I don't think there was any jealousy, just concern. We never do see her reaction to the news that Freddie is also going to Algonquin Park.

I could never see jealousy, only concern that someone may want to kill her husband.
