Yes, two weeks in a row, we haven't had the preview as the credits for the episode just finished rolled.....after the first one, I thought it was because they didn't want to give anything away in part 2, but it looks like they are using a different strategy this season......the CBC is still promoting it well, though.....

Is anyone else finding it weird that we're not getting episode previews this season, but the making of shorts instead? They are being very secretive this season... I'm not sure whether this is because fans found out too much last season or because they started filming late and are flying by the seat of their pants. I'm inclined to think the latter because MM had an incredibly broad audience last year despite the leaks. I think these links contributed to buzz in the same way illegal viewing does (according to "Game of Thrones" theory). Yes, I just found a sly way to forgive myself for not directly paying for the show...  If the "flying by seat of pants" theory is correct, we might be in for a lot of sucky filler episodes, though.  The premiere two-parted did bode well. lizmc was right that it was better to watch both eps together.  |

Or, did cray cray creepy fans worry them and now they're uber secretive because of security issues. I'm well aware shows cost money to make and I'm more than happy to pay for them and do in at least two if not three different formats. I just object to waiting 6-9 months to watch them. |

Freddie is too old mature for Higgins, she seems very serious by nature. Though I like her. |

I really liked this episode. I was glad Freddie didn't end up in any type of trouble so we have a chance of seeing her again.
George pretending to know that Ma Murphy was notorious was hilarious.
I'm glad Julia was utilized well in this episode since there was no body. (hooray for morgue science!)
The only thing... did the fire suddenly not happen?
