Wow! What a find on Acorn TV...all the episodes. I watched several They have some sort of malware cookie that inserts their ads on random web sites, though. Careful!

Wow! What a find on Acorn TV...all the episodes. I watched several Artful Detective episodes on Ovation tv on Direct TV. I couldn't understand things, because they never showed anything in order. So the Acorn TV find was fanatastic. I have all the seasons 1-7 DVD's, and can hardly wait for season 8. There is something so addictive about the series, and there are so many different story lines, that it is never boring! Yannick Bisson does a fantastic job, and I love all the repeat characters... James Pendrake, William's dad, James Gilles, etc. Come on S8 ! Welcome!

Snacky and Lucy, I'm new and thank you for running this website! I live in the U.S., and yes, Ovation is WAY behind episode-wise. Acorn is a great solution. I'm so looking forward to S8; I saw the most recent panel discussion w/all the actors on youtube. I wonder whether Thomas Craig will return. I love all the characters, and as an ensemble; it would be a shame if he never returned.
Snacky I so LOVE the photos on your posts! Obviously a girl after my own heart....

Wa, I don't run this web site. I've only been here a few months. I've just been home a lot and have had a lot of time to post, lol. I decided to make it my mission to bring MM a little closer to the US audience. Please don't give me any credit for Lucy's forum, though - there were people posting here years before me. I'm not even an admin! Besides my photo manips (which will probably have a caption), most of the stuff I post is from Tumblr. I realize few Americans - especially the older ones - will see the great stuff posted there. I'm usually only posting a sample, so click on the credit link for more! Ps. I'm sure Thomas Craig will return. He's been spotted in some photos.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Snacky! But thanks for the warm welcome. Much relieved that we will see Thomas Craig again.

Greetings all, I am from DC and I have been watching since this summer. I found MM 'by accident' and have been hooked since. I am up to Season 7 on Acorn and I think I may be a fan.

I am Canadian but there are a lot of Americans like yourself on this forum too. I hope you continue to enjoy the series and will tell us all how you feel about it. As you can see, we have a lot of fun here.

Greetings all, I am from DC and I have been watching since this summer. I found MM 'by accident' and have been hooked since. I am up to Season 7 on Acorn and I think I may be a fan. Welcome! If you're American, "happy accident" seems to be about the only way to find MM! Congratulations for tripping over the TV dial at the right time! By the way, early episodes of Murdoch Mysteries have now been syndicated over much of the U.S., but it has received no announcement at all: not from the MM folks in Canada, and only sporadically from the stations that picked it up in the US. I did hear that a station in San Diego actually gave MM much fanfare, as if it's a brand new series! Anyway, you may be able to get episodes on TV in your area. Check TV Guide Listings and make sure to filter it for your particular cable or satellite provider: www.tvguide.com/Listings/These are great for luring in friends in to watch with you. And the syndicated episodes are called "Murdoch Mysteries", not "The Artful Detective" crap that Ovation came up with.
