SPOILERS..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
As for Murdoch and his case of the killed librarian, well I think it was a mistake of identity and she was killed instead of Anna. Anna is really scared now but why all of a sudden a few months after she moved back to Toronto, the black hand finally found her and if they knew her so well, how could they make an identity mistake? The librarian was a lot younger than Anna . I do understand that the young librarian may not have been all innocent but still, if she was chlorophormed first, surely they would have checked they were killing the girl they wanted to kill and not anyone else. I liked to see Anna back, she was working really well with Murdoch but I am glad she is only a guest star. Obviously, looks like something is gonna happen to her with the cliffhanger but I think it's Murdoch who got shot as he was entering the library and Anna is kidnapped. Julia will be called to look after injured William or this is the only way I can see Julia back in next wekk episode anyway because the 2 cases are not related and William had no time to spend with Julia in that episode except when she was in jail of station4.
What do u all think?

What do u all think? nah, i don't think it was a case of mistaken identity for the reason you said yourself. i think they only found her now because they were tracking Murdoch. When they saw him make contact with someone who matched Anna's description, they made their move. i don't think anyone got shot. i think William tackled him and the shot went astray. why would they bother kidnapping her? and after this is all over, Anna will be sufficiently scared to never make contact again and that will be the end of her on the show. i originally thought she'd die but given the ending, there's no way that's happening. at least, not at that point. but as for Julia being in the show again, i think this whole contraception issue will cause a rift between Darcy and her and maybe she will even change her mind and help Dr. Grace protest. then Darcy will either not get the promotion or lose his job altogether and want a divorce or something. ;D any thoughts on who killed the librarian? i think that weirdo guy was the one writing the notes to her. maybe they were both part of some sort of role playing group in which they act out their deepest darkest desires. but then that would mean that the weirdo guy desired to kill someone and chose her. but i don't think it's him because he's too obvious and too short (judging by the kidnapping scene). so i'm not sure at all about this case. but i imagine an easy way to determine who the killer is, would be to just get all three of them to write something and then compare the writing to the notes. not sure why they haven't already done this.

Just to say that English is not my first language. I am french so I apologize for any written mistakes . Sometimes I also write too quickly but I have been living in the UK for a long time.
I rewatched ep 1, 2 and 7 and I think that Darcy is going to think that Julia is a threat to his career and he is gonna dump her. She has never been dumped in the show but she dumped William twice so I think its her turn now and she will realised how it feels to be dumped. Obviously Darcy will tell her in a nice way. I dont think Darcy will b killed off because he is a nice guy but he cares about his career and perhapes more so than Julia. She will come running to William afterwards...Hahahaha. I think Darcy will turn slightly selfish regarding Julias' principles but he is a nice guy , just not as nice as William. I l also think that Julia will carry on her fight for emancipation even if she said to Darcy that she will wait because Emily is up for it and will do the protest without Julia anyway. Julia will have to respond to Emily's actions and Darcy will be mad and as U said , may loose his promotion or pehaps not if he decides to get rid of her because her because she is too opiniated for his liking.

Another great episode Interesting how they brought Julia back and I look forward to next week! I agree lucy and I think there will b lots of troubles ahead because of Julia's principles and how modern and ahead of her time she is or wants to b. Don't look to good for Darcy and his career prospects with her around. Shame though, because I dont think he has a dark past . He is a good guy too but I think he will not make sacrifices for Julia like William would do. Anyway, cant wait for next week episode and I am gonna watch the curse of the lost pharaoh right now to see what Crabtree's book is all about. Hope I like it coz I only saw 1 or 2 random episodes, so dont know much about it.

I just finished watching this episode.
It's pretty good, I have to admit. The thing about the contraception is interesting. Would Dr. Ogden have lost her license over that, if she'd insisted? When was that kind of stuff legalised in Canada?
The whole libriarian-Anna-BlackHand thing is certainly very cool. It's like two cases in one episode. But at least this time, they have the good sense not to try and finish BOTH mysteries in one go (a-la 'Murdoch in the Yukon'), because that would rush things and spoil it.
I don't know about you, but I could see Anna & William as H&W, in lieu of Julia Ogden.

Yeah, I assumed that Julia's license was revoked as soon as the contraceptives meetings were reported to the police. That's why she was home when Darcy went to work. I have to take my computer in, so I'll come back later tonight or tomorrow to give the rest of my thoughts on the episode.

I enjoyed this episode soooooooo much!!! ;D First because finally Julia is back with her usual spirit, opinions and determination!!! Love it!!!! Even if she backed out at the end of the episode I'm pretty sure she is going to follow her mind and that it will create some interesting situations!! I love the scenes between George and the Inspector so funny!!! And as of the mystery I keep racking my brain about who could be the killer of the librairian but so far no clues!!! For me Murdoch Mysteries is back full force with the entire cast, great stories, humor and wit!! I'm pumped now and can't wait for next week

I haven't had my computer much the last few days so I haven't been able to post my thoughts on the episode. Basically, it was great. I'm trying to figure out if Lucille was sort of like Joe Bell was in The Black Hand. Not for a double coffin again but just as a way to draw Anna out. The Black Hand probably already knew she was in the area and they may have used Lucille's death as a way to get Anna's exact location. Esp since the guy was watching her. Of course, since he saw in the tavern, possibly separately, Lucille's murder could be unrelated to Anna, too. I think William got there I time to throw Anna on the ground and save her. That scene was very intense with Anna running through the stacks. It was great to see Julia again and there will def be tension with Darcy even more than already. He prioritized his career goals over hers. I was sort of surprised she backed down and I think she will regret doing that and resent that he asked her to. He made it sound like when he became head of the hospital they could change things from the inside. But once he's part of the machine, he probably won't. Not enough for Julia to accept anyway. That will cause some break down of their marriage. However, something will have to be pretty dramatic for it to end. If Darcy thinks Julia is seriously threatening his career, he may get upset enough to get a divorce. He'd really have to be pushed to the limit though. I think Emily will take the lead on the contraceptives cause and Julia will join her again at some point this season. Anyway, even though I am a W/J fan, I like him with Anna a lot, too. They were cute together and I enjoyed the teasing, too. Who knows what will happen in the next episode with Anna now that the Black Hand has found her though. The tattoo thing was interesting. I have one myself so I have to laugh at the implications it used to have. Can't wait for next week!

I think the Lucille case is completely unrelated. i did originally think she was working for them though. but then things got really strange on her part so i don't think this is the case anymore. oh and the stacks part was annoying to me. i kept thinking, take your shoes off woman!!

Yeah, my computer died on me and I had to take it in. Then the guys working on it screwed up the track pad and so I had to take it back. I've also been preparing for job interviews on Sat. Yeah, I didn't think of her taking her shoes off but that's true!
