5. William flying the Arrow is just great! I love it so very much every time. However, I am very curious as to how William didn't manage to lose his hat in all of that. Because, while it hasn't been mentioned, William has invented the invisible idiot string for his hat.......

Whenever I watch the scene with Alan Clegg and Pendrick I am reminded of watching an episode of Cold Case where the two actors I believe first worked together. Most of the episode takes place in a shed with the two men, as Michael Bennett's character is trying to get Peter's character to confess to a murder. I remember thinking at the time that the actors played many of the scenes almost more like friends than antagonists, which I thought was an odd choice. Other than dislocating his shoulder (lol) I thought their albeit brief interaction was a bit friendlier than I might have expected. Or it's all in my head

Wrote and directed that episode of Cold Squad with Matthew and Peter. They only played friends because the cop and the bad guy had known each other for years - Stebbing's character had been in Bennett's sights for years as the murderer. He just didn't have the evidence so they had had many interactions in the past. Did the torture scene in Murdoch with the two of them as a little in joke between me and the two actors. Have worked with both of them for almost twenty years!

Also saw them together on the Listener once or twice, but if I recall the interaction was different. Thanks to Twitter we know Michael Bennett will appear in season 9. I look forward to it.
