Yay, a S7 thread! I guess I missed this when it was first posted. I hope they don't stretch out a post-traumatic stress plot line either, since we already saw a bit of that in S5 after Julia was buried alive. I anticipate some period of healing from the trauma of Darcy's death for Julia. I hope it won't last more than 5 eps in S7. Then I hope she and William will get engaged and married not long after. I don't even need to see the wedding (since I know writers hate writing wedding eps) or much of it. I just want to move on to seeing them adopt a child and become parents. I want to see them as husband and wife and all those challenges they will face given their differences. I'd like Julia to get PG and have a biological child unexpectedly at the end of the series, after they've already been blissfully happy with their adopted child. I hope we get a S8 because I feel like this would all be a little rushed to fit into one season. I'd love to see Ruby again, but as has been mentioned the actress has moved to the U.S. So if we get one more appearance from her before the show ends, I think we'll be very lucky. I expect Gillies will be back, but hopefully only once more. If we have more than one more season, he may not return in S7. I'd like Sally to come back, too. I'm sure it's all dependent on whether they actress will be willing/able to return. I'm sure Pendrick will be back, as well. It would be fun to see him work with William to catch Sally. In terms of William's siblings, his sister has probably died by now because she had terminal cancer. In the books, he has a brother (not the half brother) as well. They could introduce him. I would like to see William return to Nova Scotia with Julia and perhaps see his brother then. Perhaps his father has returned to NS, too. Once William and Julia are engaged, or definitely once they're married, we should meet Julia's father.

A biological child might be possible. Although of course, we're relying on the relative inaccuracy of turn-of-the-century medicine here.

They don't need a miracle biological child, they can easily adopt. There were plenty of unwanted children around. And I don't think the show would do a pregnancy anyway, it's easier to have a ready made child brought into the storyline.

I would think they would love to pull a pregnancy out of their hats as an unexpected ending. It's just the kind of thing I could see them doing. But I would want them to focus on the love for their adopted child first. I wouldn't want that to be diminished at all. That's why a biological child should only happen if there's a S8. S7 should be focused on their marriage and adopting a child.

Kids who's parents were drunks, drug-addicts, unemployed, prostitutes...dead...there were orphanages overflowing with kids. And there were street-kids who were running around trying to make a buck any way they could. Minding horses, opening carriage-doors, sweeping streets, sweeping crossings, selling papers... There would be a huge array of kids for Murdoch to pick from if he ever decided to adopt.

1. I think the zombies comment was a joke but then again they did have an episode sort of revolving around that theme in S3. 2. Yeah I dunno either. Unlikely that they will be going there to solve a crime. 3. They also already did that storyline in S4. But I guess this will be different. 4. Who was the prez back then?
Also, Yannick strongly hinted that things with Jilliam will finally be resolved so yay!
And possibly we will be seeing Murdoch's family in some capacity!

Just a little side note. In Victorian times the death of a spouse demanded two years of full black mourning. While I imagine Julia will probably not hold to that fully, I do expect that considering her feelings of guilt over Darcy's death, that we might see her in dark colors, for at least half of season 7. Her relationship with William will also have to be more circumspect during that time,
