Huh, I've never really thought about this but even if Julia was on the rebound, I can't imagine she would agree to an arranged marriage! I think that is what you are implying, not sure. Oh wait, you mean that her father just pushed Darcy towards his daughter, is that it?
And no, to my knowledge, no one has run with this before but I can't read French.

Ehem, we're actually discussing Murdoch's lack of sex life. xD Haha, either way, petunia, I feel for the poor guy. XD What? -angel face- I would never! All right, that was a jab, but it was a fond jab. I love your crazy stories, so don't get me wrong. LMAO Carco- we ARE the keepers of the Murdoch Mysteries gate. And nothing gets past us! I don't know if I'd want Julia to become Emily's assistant. It would feel all kind of backwards. Even if Emily was the 'main' coroner, I think she'd be overshadowed by Julia- and I for one cannot see Julia acting as an assistant.

Nah. I don't think Julia would EVER agree to that. I think that Darcy was kind. He listened to her. He made time for her. She did love him, and could very well have been happy with him, had she not returned to Toronto.

I wasn't thinking in terms of either Julia or Darcy being made aware of an arrangement but anyhow, I got it...not a good idea!

@melody, I used to google translate them too but I couldn't read more than a few before the atrocious grammar bothered me too much. carco, It could be a good idea, I'm just not quite getting what you were saying. How exactly was Julia's father involved in your scenario?

On another topic.... did ya'll see the second episode of the web-series? The one about the flooding scenes?
The best part was definitely "Can you swim?" "Mate, I'm Australian."
A liiiittle bit disappointed about this year's webseries, but I'll definitely enjoy a peek behind the scenes anyhow.

This is not a webserie, this is a behind the scene look...I really hope that's not what they plan because a webserie is completely different. I don't have twitter myself but if someone would ask CBCMurdoch that would be nice. Indeed as much as I love the Behind the scenes thing...I too would be disappointed if this was the "webserie". For the person (sorry can't remember the name :/ ) who was saying that she would like to see Julia be more involved with the cases, well there was an interview and Helene Joy was saying that indeed this season she's more involved in helping William, at the same level as George or at least pretty close to that. For the rest regarding Julia's field of work, in my opinion, I don't see her coming back to the morgue and I definitely don't see her just "assisting" Emily, she taught her everything....I think when we are used to something (especially when it works which was the case with the professional relationship W&J as detective and pathologist) it is hard to welcome a change, however I think that the reason the introduction of Julia as a psychiatrist was not in the forefront last season was because the writers were probably trying it out; now that she's more established I'm confident that the "profiling" will be more integrated. I don't know....I'm the optimistic kind anyway, CosmicCavalcade will confirm it

Oh, that's not the webseries? I thought it was! XD I have no idea where that came from. You're probably right. It's just a behind the scenes look.

I already asked CBC awhile ago about a webseries for this season and they said and I quote, "We'll have something, you'll see. " So I don't know if this behind the scenes thing is what they meant or what. Basically, I can't answer your question Barb and this response was pointless. Oh yes, Julia will definitely be doing the profiling thing that I've wanted her to do since last season. They're going to have kicked her out of the asylum because of all the craziness surrounding her conviction and now MM will go and 'create' a new position for her at the constabulary.

Er, she hasn't been kicked out of the asylum... scenes have been filmed there, prominently for Murdochophobia. I thought she would have been, too, but apparently she beat up her boss until he allowed her to stay on.

Yes, and I bow down to thee. xD
No, seriously, though- if she hasn't been fired, it'll be interesting to find out why not. I hope they don't just gloss over it.

Now, I'm also wondering about Julia's work situation this season because in the video previews for the upcoming episode (the bicycle race) there's a quick shot of Julia donning her pathologist apron and she appears to be doing a post mortem but it appears that Dr Grace is in the morgue too. Its hard to tell with just those quick video clips, which might be out of order. but I'm not sure William quite has 100% trust in Emily's abilities so maybe they asked Julia for her opinion, given her expertise?

Shoot I shouldn't have read that Can I ask if possible not to put information on the next episode, I don't watch trailers myself and the only reason I was out from this board for so long was to avoid reading spoilers and I only look at that thread because I wished that we would only talk about this specific episode. I'm sorry for being picky but if it can't happen then I will have to leave this forum unfortunately as I don't want to know what will happen next. Thanks in advance for your comprehension
