Shoot I shouldn't have read that Can I ask if possible not to put information on the next episode, I don't watch trailers myself and the only reason I was out from this board for so long was to avoid reading spoilers and I only look at that thread because I wished that we would only talk about this specific episode. I'm sorry for being picky but if it can't happen then I will have to leave this forum unfortunately as I don't want to know what will happen next. Thanks in advance for your comprehension Sorry, now I know.

Yeah, don't worry- we'll keep this strictly Murdoch Ahoy, and avoid spoilers.
So, you're trying not to spoiler yourself this season? That must be really hard. I know I wouldn't be able to manage. xD

I just watched the web series "All wet." From what both actors said, do you think that stunt doubles were not used?

MelodyPond101, I've managed to do that more or less last season and I liked it even more, it is not easy but it can be done. The reason I did that is because in season 5 I wanted to know EVERYTHING regarding the show, episodes etc... and I discovered way in advance that Julia was going to be buried alive...so I totally ruined the momentum of "Murdoch in Toyland" which is my favorite episode of this very so-so season, I was so disappointed that since then I decided to avoid as much spoilers as possible Petunia, well from the video it appears that they did that on their own

Right. Watched this last night.
1. The Gillies thing is dragging out too much. It's getting boring.
2. The episode had me groaning and scratching my head from the get-go. Why?
- There is a cry of "man overboard" and you don't hear a splash. Yeah, very believable.
- If she's not overboard, then obviously she MUST be onboard. Duh.
- I felt the story was a bit rushed. It seemed like they tried to cram in too many things.
3. It did have its good bits. Like Will meeting Julia on the bridge. And the bit with Murdoch losing his hat.
4. I felt like the whole subplot about the university pranksters and the stolen items was unnecessary. I don't think it added anything to the episode.
In all, it was an okay start. Not great, but it's not terrible.

I guess I'm as brain dead as Murdoch. -definitely agree it was rushed and that is cuz of the extra time used for the subplot, which was obviously only there to add comedic bits and to include the other cast members. It succeeded in being funny but it wasn't necessary. 3. Yeah definitely. So I enjoyed it but the cases are still kind of weak.

The Gillies thing didn't bother me this episode, 'cause he was only mentioned in passing. I thought from the start that it was rushed- but I did enjoy the university prankster thing, even if it was unessesary. I thought it added the right amount of humor to the show, even if it wasn't strictly nessecary.

I just watched the web series "All wet." From what both actors said, do you think that stunt doubles were not used? Does anyone have a link for this. i don't think I've seen it. I loved the episode. The sub plot didn't bother me in the least and George and Emily's interactions were so sweet. Henry is starting to annoy me though, always so negative and trying to get one up on George. But I do love Georges reactions to him. And YAY!!!! Julia is taking a stronger part in the show. FINALLY!!! I often felt that she has been stitched into episodes just to keep her presence around. Loved the rescue scene. Williams hat comment was so asperges; he was so helpless and needed his security blanket (hat) lol.

I finally got around to re watching this. Hmm... James Gilles must have much better lawyers than Julia did. His case is still dragging on, six months after while her case was rushed through in weeks. For a rich woman, she sure managed to find a bad lawyer!!!

Don't you think also Petunia that it could have something to do with the double standard between men and women and the discrimination that they had to endure in that time period...On a more practical basis we all know it is a writer trick to probably do something with Gillies....because with everything the character has done he should have hanged while being burned a long time ago!!!

Actually, I don't think that is overkill at all - given what he put Julia through, I'm not sure it's enough!!
