When a competitor dies during a bicycle race, Murdoch suspects he was killed by large doses of a mysterious stimulant.
None of the sneak peaks show Julia encouraging "her man" in the bicycle race. I think that would make for some funny dialogue between Emily and Julia and more girl bonding.

Emily and Thomas watch the race, I think Bobby is there too. Also I believe a relative(s) of Darcy may show up in this episode.

Ugh, we don't need another member of the Garland family causing upset between William and Julia.
I was puzzled that Julia didn't seem to be there- surely she would want to support him? They better have a good reason as to why she's no't in the front row, cheering him on!

Not sure if it's in this episode or not. But it's soon, I know that.
Julia will be there, somewhere, sometime. She was on set at the TAC so... Or perhaps the reason she was not watching the race is because she had to deal with this relative. I believe she helps out Emily in the morgue too.

I liked this episode more than the premiere even though there were many silly things about it! I mean, there always are and that's part of the charm so I'm not gonna complain about it! I especially loved the continuity to a certain favourite S4 episode! Murdoch has a new nickname and I will be using it forever now! I can confirm that Garland's much younger brother shows up. I'm a bit anxious as to his intentions, and no I don't mean something romantic towards Julia. Emily was in fine extra creepy form today. And I still don't get WHY Murdoch was even in the race with a bunch of guys like half his age but he sure did cut a fine figure.  |

This was better than the premiere. Hands. Down.
Funnier, a better case.... I'm sorry, this episode... I beyond loved it. First of all, Murdoch in his cycling outfit. Julia being awesome and fitting into the episode- her scenes didn't at all feel forced.
Detective Gadget. Yes. So much win. SO MUCH WIN.
The Jilliam scene at the end was adorable. It really was.
.... on the other hand, Dr. Grace was JUST starting to get into my good books. Now, I'm a litttle creeped out. Okay, more like a lottle creeped out.

Oh, and if I were Murdoch, I would have just waited at the finish line to arrest the guy. I mean, I'm not complaining- that chase scene was pretty hot- but why exert yourself, Murdo?

Oh and I loved the parallels to Still Waters! A rival team mate is killed...George getting hyped up on caffeine...even one of the actors was the same! Apparently that is an increasing trend on the show. Minerva Fairchild (also from Still Waters)...I mean, the actress who plays her is in the next episode! Wouldn't it be kooky if it WAS Minerva though, who's taken up a profession after travelling the world?
