How spoilery is this thread? After the jilliam wedding stuff I didn't want to know anything more about S8...but now I feel really left out. :/ Don't worry, you can watch it. If there were spoilers, I would have warned people before. I used inverted commas in order to mean that this "new all episode" was not a real one. So like lovemondays said: enjoy!

You can certainly watch that vid. It's done in Lego by a 10 year old boy. It's adorable and no spoilers. Enjoy! He recites replies with the good intonations in his voice; we can recognize the way that each characters speak up.

LOL LOL LOL!No seriously, that was great! Loved the morgue scene...and poor Mr. Pendrick. Yes he has more imagination than the writers of MURDOCH MYSTERIES in order to please William/Julia shippers. His approach is rather direct to broach the subject.

I meant this thread in general not that priceless fan vid from yesterday. There's pics and lots of speculation, but not much in the way of actual spoilers. But, you may view the pics as spoilers, so you may wish to avoid it. It it just depends on what your exact definition of spoiler is.

Anna couldn't return because she's supposed to be dead. It's far too risky for her to come back. And she has no reason to. William was never actually in love with her. So she couldn't stop the wedding.
Leslie Garland possibly could sabotage the wedding. But I doubt it. They already did his revenge last season.
Gillies is dead. That's been proven.
W/J wouldn't stop their own wedding by choice. The one thing they've always wanted was to marry each other. They've gotten past any issues that were keeping them apart.
The ceremony in ep 100 being a dream is a possibility.
The ceremony getting interrupted by a crime, and then them eloping near the end of the episode is a possibility.
Them having a normal ceremony and living happily ever after is a possibility. It could be in ep 100 or it might be later in the season. It's more likely to be one of the possibilities. The first three are too melodramatic and they're already played out. The other suggestions on the facebook page are too stupid to even consider. The show said they had thrown every obstacle at W/J and they weren't doing that any more. I would be very surprised if they go back on that. The MM Facebook page is just trying to stir up viewer speculation because they know wedding pictures have been posted online.

Yeah CBC likes to troll the fans all the time...I didn't take most of that whiteboard seriously at all. I think most likely, though rather predictable, would be the ceremony getting interrupted by a crime and then an intimate, romantic elopement in the last few minutes. They like to toy with our emotions as much as possible so that scenario is the best bet for that.

About a possible comeback of Anna with a child: there is NO WAY! Je refuse! ahahaha, it cracks me up you lapsed into "je refuse!" Merci for putting this spin on things. Whenever I think about contraception and the Catholic church, I always think of women. Whenever I think of William and contraception, I always think of him enforcing Canadian law. It has never once occurred to me that William wouldn't use contraception because he's a Catholic, a Catholic MAN wouldn't use contraception. However, there is that "modernity" issue and the fact William made some strange comments about carrying on at a later date. I do agree with you that William is a very responsible man. He's trying to enter the middle class career and build a middle class profession without a college education: he wouldn't mess that up with a pregnancy. It's still hard to imagine him as a 40 year old virgin, though! How serious are Catholic men about "the rules"? Maybe they break a few and confess later...?

Also I wonder, in Wiliam's head, will Darcy sort of haunt his marriage to Julia? While he's experiencing marriage for the first time ever with the love of his life, can he shake off the feeling he might have that everything he's experiencing will be a "been there, done that" situation for Julia? Will Wm. start to feel that Darcy is the third person in the marriage? I've been wondering that, too - and I really hope the writers at least hint at that!!! While Julia will be haunted by whether another woman could have given William a child, William will be haunted by whether Darcy "aroused Julia's passions"...perhaps better than he does. The Kissing Bandit suggested William is worried a bit that he is "boring"! I can't wait to see those Women of Action! But the men in danger...?

Plus, snacky gets her question answered. He takes the hat off. You should watch the morgue scene with more attention! It's Julia who takes William's hat from his head and throws it away.

The writers of MURDOCH MYSTERIES suggested some scripts as an obstacle to the wedding of Julia and William; the first is Anna.
Regarding William's feelings toward Anna: he seemed extremely pleased to see her, and extremely disappointed that she was engaged at the start of The Black Hand. I think he was at least willing to try dating her once Julia was engaged, and he was supposed to be dating other women.
But do you think William was in love with Anna? According to me, at any time he loves Anna and it's also hard for me to think that he could play with the feelings of a woman and/or that he could make love to a woman without love. He is a gentleman; he has respect women. So what to think about their relationship?
