Maybe one of them -a medicated psychopath- would habe developped an obsession with William. She would be so in love with William than she would like to take the place of Julia in his life. She would abduct and sequestrate Julia to learn how to look like her and of course, she would have the intention to kill her at the end. But I don't think that I have the slightest chance of being on the same wavelength of the writers of MURDOCH MYSTERIES. You never know, anything could happen.  But me personally, I would like to see Murdoch get kidnapped and have Julia and maybe the gang help rescue him for a change. It would even give Brax the opportunity to break out his chalkboard again! It's a good idea which deserves to be developed! William who falls into the hands of an fangirl. I can already hear Julia say to her "hands off from my William!" But the last time William was missing, Inspector BRACKENREID and Constable CRABTREE called the Detective Hamish SLOACK to find him. |

I think the actor who plays slorach actually tweeted awhile back that he was filming on the show for two weeks...but that would have been an earlier episode than this appreciation society one. So not a likely scenario if Murdoch were to get kidnapped.

If it was a way to respond/a kind of answer, I wondered if or why the writers felt obliged to do a such thing. Did they want to justify their work in the "Midnight Train to Kingston" episode? Did they want to bring fans some explanations because they would have misunderstood their work? The writers will not interact with fans so directly because that will be giving fans too much power over their creative process. But I think the title "Keystone Constables" is a way of indicating the writers *heard* fans, particularly in regard to Midnight Train to Kingston. But the writers are not going to respond directly to fan praise or criticism, because they can't let fans control the show. Oooh, that might be a good episode! |

I'm surprised there has been no stealth help from MM marketing to give it a boost on Facebook or even Tumblr. I've said repeatedly I don't have those accounts. It's vastly in their interest to market this way. It's almost a 'duh' move. There are ldgal reasons they can't officially support fan vids...but in the US companies use guerilla marketing allthe timr. The SyFy channel even tried hosting fan vid as an experiment.

I'd imagine they'd have at least one episode where Brackenreid wasn't in his normal role. But he'd probably be on the brink of total recovery, or as good as he's going to get so he'd be back as inspector by the third episode. You tried Nightmare on Queen Street yet? |

Great collection but I'd add this man of action vid too. ay caramba, for some reason I really hate that taking-away-the puppet scene. And why does that dominate the "man of action" video? I feel bad saying that because I was looking hard for a Techtra vid to include: she made quite a few. But the music for all of them was just like something from the Midwestern bar scene. After working through a group of these older MM vids with strangely "heartland" music (US heartland, not the Canadian TV show), I realized what I was dealing with was a group of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye fans who had followed Yannick Bisson to Murdoch Mysteries, and who were applying their same Sue Thomas music themes to MM. Eek. But I did want to represent the entire vidding community, and 30k people apparently liked (or at least accidentally viewed) those vids, so I tacked them on at the end of my Buzzfeed list. I keep looking through YouTube and hoping I can find examples where one of them made the jump out of Sue Thomas mode, though. :/ |
