I don't know, there are times when it's unbuttoned, or he's in just his vest, but not usually in front of Julia. Maybe not all the time, but he tends to be buttoned up around her. I'm keeping an eye out for these occurrences-I might be mistaken but it just seems to be a thing. We got through season 3, when we decided last weekend to binge watch season 7 so he'd be up to date. Now, we're back in season 4 and just finished Buffalo Shuffle. Can I say that I hope there's more of William in just his vest this season? That needs to happen a lot more. William may be buttoned up but his jacket never is and there have been several occasions where he's been in a vest, two have been mentioned but also The Green Muse, at the picnic, and Shades of Grey when Julia visits him at work. Hmm, both moments of intimacy.... l He needs to keep the jacket unbuttoned so he can quickly show his badge and say, in his most authoritative and deep voice, "Toronto Constabulary." I am with the vest lovers. More please!!

Do you mean buttoned around Julia? Because he's usually quite buttoned up around. I've also been looking for instances where he was just wearing a vest around Julia, and Unfinished Business and Murdoch Air are all that come to mind. His suit jacket has never been buttoned, anywhere, ever. Even in winter with his overcoat on both coats are unbuttoned. The style of William's jacket has always been different, too - shorter than the jackets the other men wear. I think his is meant to show the "buttoned up" vest.

Hmm, both moments of intimacy.... To my memory, William usually takes off his jacket when he's working around the office. But he may be hoping that Julia will catch him like that.

I'm going to think good thoughts and hope things work out fine. Things will certainly work out fine in the end. Those crazy kid are destined to be together. By the way I got a nice Zazzle coupon in the email today, so I gave into temptation and bought that t-shirt I designed a long time ago. I couldn't take a screenshot that's big enough to read, but the badge on the hat says: Station House No. 4, Toronto Police Department. How's that for a joyful thought? That is a big smilie for sure ! You are pretty talented. Speaking of t-shirts, I crave one with that old fashioned light bulb on it! Haven't found one and I wouldn't have the first idea as to how to design one of my own. I know Zazzle sells Murdoch stuff but I did not know you could design your own. Hmmmm

I made a point to check. They are indeed SH4 boys. My thought was "Shouldn't you be down at the docks helping out your brothers in a known hostile and violent area instead of women who were peacefully protesting and were attacked by a man?" I wonder how that's going to be dealt with next week. Let's see where the women are jailed next week. I bet we haz found a nitpicky error. I hope so. None of the officers arresting the women looked familiar. I would prefer if they were from the same station they creamed in baseball in Stroll on the Wild Side pt. 2. Or the station where one cop murdered another in The Great Wall. Besides if station 4 was supposed to be located where Wilton St. currently is, then Queens Park would probably not be in their jurisdiction.

I'm considering this an experiment, so I went very cheap on the t-shirt this time. But if it does look good, I'm very excited to wear it about town and let people ask questions about why I have a Toronto police badge on my shirt.

Photoshop is pretty easy to get your hands on. You could even use Photoshop Elements for a project like this. What you need to learn how to do is work in "layers" of your picture. The bottom "layer" should remain transparent. In the end you want to save your file as a .png filetype so the background remains transparent. Other than that it's just a matter of learning how to use the tools to create (and/or import) the image you want. I was going back and forth about adding a Murdoch Mysteries logo, but in the end I thought an image that raises questions was better. Also, I didn't want to get into copyright issues.

Once you rewatch it, I'd love to know your take on it. I've re-watched this scene several times now and I've come to the conclusion that William's reply was just too flippant. There has to be something more behind this. I am more concerned with Julia's laughing look at the end. What is she thinking?

The results are impressive, and yes it is neat to have a conversation starter. I wonder if the lightbulb, from the opening credits, is considered copyrighted? We have Photoshop on our main computer, but neither of us has ever tried something like this. Hubby is a photographer who messes with his pictures all the time. I have never used the program at all. In any case, as with the posting of the tour pictures, when I get up a head of steam, I find a way of doing things! (Sometimes with a little help)

I am more concerned with Julia's laughing look at the end. What is she thinking? Perhaps she is trying to make light of the situation - like there is nothing for William to be worrying about - just an offhand remark, she wasn't really suggesting they should live in that neighborhood...
