The trailer that was shown at the end of Monday's episode is now up on the CBC site (so it could be seen properly) and one of the characters will be Brackenreid's nephew, Charley. He is wearing a Station House 4 uniform, so I wonder if he will be a recurring character. Cheers Oh my...they've definitely gone there. No two ways about it. www.cbc.ca/murdochmysteries/episodes/season-8/torontos-girl-problemPretty much...should be interesting to see what they do with this. (I'm assuming you're talking about Lemily...) It seems that Emily has a thing for music and dancing. That's how Leslie started to charm her as well.

I hope Charlie doesn't last very long if he's stealing Higgins' desk! He did seem very good at analyzing the crime scene, though. Random observation - over the last few episodes (and this might even be from the start of the season) - it has seemed to me that the cut and grain of William's suit has changed slightly. Has anyone else noticed that? He seems to have a better quality suit now. Julia shopping for him?

What is Brackenreid thinking! He is messing up the dynamics of the station house - which will probably be interesting but I hope he comes to his senses later on and Henry gets his desk and George gets Murdoch back .

You may be right and Julia is shopping for him . My random observation is that in the earlier seasons William used to be without the jacket more often. I'm a fan of William in his shirtsleeves, so it may just feel like it...

Being into the 3 piece suits I usually take notice of which one he's wearing and have seen several of the suits he's worn this season in previous seasons. They seem to go through using the same suits for a while then changing them around. I do wish they'd drop that brown one though, it seems to turn up in every episode!

I have to take that back about Julia doing the shopping: that's sexist, and it's a show fact that Ruby had to do the shopping for Julia. I think she must have a "personal shopper" of some sort at Eaton's! Ooh, another vest fan! Join the cult! William does look good in a vest!

Maybe the old one finally shrank so much from being immersed in water, William couldn't get into it anymore.......

It's not his thing either, but as usual, he humored me.

Hodge and I have remarked on its seeming derriere-accentuation function...

Men expect women to do everything in there power to look good. I don't see why they resist doing what women say make them look good. They insist on cheesy mustaches or beards, too. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Clean-shaven men in vests rule! (bonus points for glasses!)
