Ok Here I am after a long absence. My favourite season is definitely summer, because I have a big garden. I really do not like the cold we are having now. Hubby and I just went up north to Meaford this weekend to see a concert and do some snowshoeing. It was my first time, and I actually enjoyed it! That said, I am happy to be sitting at home today beside my sunny patio door watching the world go by and reading posts, so I can relate to you Lovemondays. A fire and a glass of wine would be awesome right now, but we do not have a fireplace. At least I have MM to look forward to this evening! And I can look forward to seeing some of you in a few weeks!! BTW, one of those seats in the boat is saved for you!!!  Thank you !!  |

Bad weather! Boiling hot one day, nonstop thunderstorm downpour the next day!!

To top it all off, I have a sinus infection. Is your air conditioning not working? That would really suck. OK, call me weird, but I'll take the cold and snow over heat anytime........I enjoyed my walk with the dog this morning.....cold, crisp, sunny........
No air conditioning? Bloody hell.......

I don't know, but when I first saw it, I was wondering if it was around Sibald Point with either Georgina or Snake Island in the background.....
(Remember the year the ice fissure opened at Jackson's Point on the ice fishermen and there was a mad scramble to get off the ice? I was in London when that happened and it made the front page of the Times.....with comments about crazy people sitting in an ice hut drinking beer and on rare occasions, catching a fish......)
I too thought it was Snake Island in the distance. I thought Fox Island was a little further north. We moored off Snake Island when my friend had a cottage and I'm sure we could see the shore in the distance. I asked on FB if anyone knew where that house was and the answer came back Lefroy.........never been to Lefroy.......at least we got the lake right.......
