Anyone who attends needs to come back and give me a play-by-play. I'm really excited to hear how it goes for everyone! Also, learn all the secrets. Then tell me those secrets.Secrets/Spoilers: Let's just say that the season 9 preview made a point to show lots of Jilliam. Kissing, tie play, pushing up against alley walls.  I hope they release it again soon, because with all of the noise, I didn't catch a lot of the dialogue. But William kissing her goodbye (he really didn't want to go-they were on their way to a cartography exhibit featuring mercator projection, (which he was very excited about-such nerds), William picking apart the inaccuracies in George Melies "A Trip to the Moon" while Julia tried to calm him by reminding him it was just a movie, etc. There were also scenes from the prison with George, and Terrence Meyers gets William's attention in a way he can't refuse. You've already seen the dominoes in the suite (which I didn't catch but Hodge said are in her pictures), the family pic of George, Edna, and Simon on George's desk, and I mentioned above the preview with lots of Jilliam. Notably absent: The Asylum set and Julia's office-which were there last year according to other folks. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out, and I'll try to add to this as it comes to me. |

I stumbled across Craig Grant's Periscope broadcasts on Youtube tonight. Not sure if this link will work - www.youtube.com/watch?v=J45jKigOET4 - but the name of the file is At the Murdoch Mysteries Studio for Fan Weekend and is about 14 minutes long. He apparently showed some rooms even the fans in attendance didn't see. I was lucky enough to catch his live broadcasts on the weekend. |
