I am extremely interested to know where they got the opium paraphernalia for this episode. I assume they rented it/borrowed it from an antiques shop? A lot of antique opium paraphernalia was destroyed by the Chinese government in the 1950s and 60s as it was trying to abolish the practice of smoking opium. So whatever exists would've been whatever's been stored in antiques shops and museums. Opium pipes are now very popular souvenirs in China. I have two. Any 5-colored dragons or the color yellow?

No dresses for me! Bell bottom jeans with velvet inserts, tapestry full length coat (which I wanted to give to Rebecca but my mother gave away!) Not sure I ever did tie dye. This was the end of the hippie period btw. That tapestry coat sounds awesome. It was! I had kept it because I loved it. When my daughter was in high school I wanted to give it to her. I remember leaving it in the closet at my parents home and wanted to bring it back for her, my mother had sent it to a thrift store. I was more than a little upset....

Just be careful what you wish for!! Lol, I would never go that far. I have my wild child side but even that is quite conservative.

Considering how amazing the prop masters are with the 3D printer (remember the Les Apaches crazy Gun/knife/brass knuckles?) I figured they made them and they are lovely.

From a dealer in the US according to this tweet Check out @monkeylairlabs's Tweet: Craig Grant and his team are beyond amazing. I am assuming he has a team because there is no way one man can pull off the creativity and execution of all the gadgets, models, etc, let alone have time to source all the antiques they manage to include. I truly believe that Craig is a genius at his craft and that his contribution to MM is just as significant as the cast and the writers. He is funny, great with the fans and you can tell by the quality of his work that the man loves his job!

The things he comes up with are pretty amazing. I suspect he's done his job for so long he has a great network of people to access information on where to find things as well. MM would definitely not be the show it is without Craig's expertise.

He is funny, great with the fans and you can tell by the quality of his work that the man loves his job! True that! Despite how much I love this show, it probably would not still be on the air if it wasn't for Craig Grant's ability to find or create authentic and/or believable historical items, gadgets and whimsy. Do they give awards for that? Does he get recognition from peers in his particular field? I know, it's Canada and we're reluctant to self promote but he's a treasure. I don't know how to do You Tube videos but perhaps one of us out there could do one to highlight just Craig Grant's contributions to MM? Actually, the DVD's that are sold, should include a special (lengthy) feature that highlights him and his work on the show.
