The description as per the CBC: While applying for a loan to build his dream home for Ogden, Murdoch finds himself in the midst of a bank heist that puts his reputation at risk.

This is going to be hilarious! I'm not much of a sports fan but I'm sure Brackenreid is going to have some zingers aimed at Jackson until he steps up his game. Crabtree, as usual, shows a flair for the dramatic.
Pay per listen and telegraphing aka texting. Love it!

All I have is maybe one of the robbers was an innocent man Murdoch once erroneously put away, or he does something at the bank that effects him.

Perhaps the robbers get away and Murdoch didn't stop them? Or he can't solve where the money's gone, so it damages his reputation?

Or because he can't find the money, his credit score takes a hit and he doesn't get the loan. I don't think not finding the money would affect his credit score (did they have them back then?) but it could put him out of favour with the bank manager and he may not get the loan because of that.

Perhaps Murdoch stops the branch manager from trying to take on the robbers who then escape and as a result the bank refuses his loan.

Nope - but I was actually also thinking that money going missing could be a factor and William somehow being suspected to be in cahoots with the robbers could risk his reputation. Why someone would suspect that, I don't know...
