So, has anyone else wondered that Mr. Jones (the male hotel wait staff) how involved he was in the plot? Someone had to have told Eva about the order that morning, and someone had to have drugged the tea that William drank that evening.
Also, anyone notice how it was William who told Eva that Julia couldn't have children? That surprised me.

I found it odd but assumed he was going along with her so would say anything he had to to keep her happy.

I'm also thinking she had to have needed help with moving Worsely's body as well as getting William out of the hotel. I was shocked when I realized that William told her that. Perhaps it was a just tell her anything to keep her happy, but it still is a jarring admission.

It's not shocking in the circumstances. He had to make Eva believe that he was bending to her will, so he had to reveal something personal so she'd trust him and not kill him. Julia would completely understand why he told her.

William was alone with a deranged woman who had belted him with the butt of a gun. To survive the ordeal he had to tell her what she wanted to hear to survve.

Eva was unable seduce William because after she hit him with the gun when he struggled with her she said to him "We will try this again tomorrow" Well, it didn't happen because Julia arrived.

I got round to watching this the other day!
It was so good. I hope that next season Murdoch and Julia can adopt and have a house if their own.
I'm hoping for some happiness for Crabtree too ☺
I can't see how Julia managed to ride a horse and kill Eva after being injured...
Where did that bow and arrow randomly come from?

A little far fetched but MM is supposed to be entertainment not reality.... Julia is an archer, we've seen her with her bow and arrows before in Murdoch in Ladies Wear and also referenced in The Artful Detective.

Loved to see Eva get hers.........and Julia as hero.......and, yes it was a bit far fetched, but exciting and fun, with several cheer out loud moments......

I actually wish they had not killed off Eva. It would have made for some interesting story ideas in later seasons. She could have been subdued and returned to the asylum or escaped the forest with an arrow wound in her shoulder after Julia kicked her butt and saved the day. Lost potential in my opinion. That's just what my thoughts on it were. But I always thought that Eva was an excellent antagonist and that they way she acted in this episode was not as out of charecter as some fans did. I think it also needed to be a two part episode.
